Clear Choice Roofing

My first very positive YELP review for Clear Choice Roofing in 2018, was when we had just recently purchased our modest home in northwest Austin, TX, and needed to repair several minor issues to the roof's integrity. We knew very little regarding the business, cultural, environmental and lifestyle dimensions of this growing and tremendous city - BUT, now five years later - having had recent hail damage to our home, we immediately reached out to the CCR team - and, had quick results from start to finish. First, with Matt Abrey, their very experience field customer appraisal lead who assessed our damages, and then internally to Danielle who managed the process of assigning teams, coordinating operations and follow-up satisfaction assurance. My wife and I have owned several homes over the course of our lives and have had new roofs installed in all (4-total), and Clear Choice Roofing is the "hands down" best roofing company we've had the pleasure to work with to ensure our homes' integrity. Thanks ALL - you're the BEST!!!

Didn't like the service. It took almost 6 months to finish the project. Multiple follow ups done. Not much help from roofer in coordination with insurer.

We had a work shed we purchased from a prefab company that ended up leaking.

We called Clear Choice for a quote to put a metal roof on top.

They came out within 48 hours, quoted within 12 hours after that, and came by within another 72 hours to get it done.

It was truly impressive. Especially when I had 4 other roofers come out, say they'll provide a quote, 3/4 of which never did, and 1 which did but never responded to a follow-up question.

I would strongly recommend you don't waste your time and just go with Clear Choice.

Really responsive, very fair pricing, they definitely only charge for what they do. Strongly recommend them.

Our roof had a leak.
The Clear Choice people repaired the leak quickly, though thoroughly in a neat way. We're satisfied.

Last year, hail demolished my roof. When doing my research for replacement Clear Choice kept coming up as a highly rated and trusted company. I can confidently say those reviews were right. Clear Choice worked closely with my insurance so I had almost nothing to do, the roof is impeccably done and they even upgraded my house to accommodate new building codes. The people are all very friendly as well which is the cherry on top.

As long as I live in the Austin area, Clear Choice will be my roofing company.

I didn't even get to the point of an estimate. I set up an appointment to get an estimate and later got a text saying he needed to unload a truck at the office so it would be much later before he could be here. I understand things come up that require attention but unloading a truck isn't one. I rearranged my morning to get this estimate but my time isn't important. If they can't stand up to their commitment getting the job how are they going to handle doing or standing behind the job?

James E came to my house to check on a ceiling stain that might have been the result of a minor leak. Clear Choice did the roofing for the house years ago so I wanted to let them check it out. James was quick to spot the possible culprit of the leak and fixed it on the spot , a courtesy fix at no cost to me. He also look around the roof to check for other potential issues. I would not hesitate to use them again for any roof jobs or recommend them to anyone . This is not a paid feedback.

Clear Choice Roofing was recommended by a neighbor who was very satisfied with their work. I saw the roof and it looks very nice. Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience with them. Although they did respond quickly to my text messages, they have not followed through with anything they say. After claiming I needed to file a claim with insurance (without even looking at my roof) I trusted them and the insurance came back with a "covering only $700 of damage" response. I forwarded this to Clear Choice and they responded with, "this is laughably rude". Ever since then the only response I receive when I follow up is some form of: "I'll be sure to make it out this week". This has been going on for weeks and now I just need to move on and find a reputable contractor to perform the work. I hope others do not have this experience as it appears people are overall happy with their work.

I set up an appointment days in advance. An hour before the appointment time, they called to cancel.
That's the reason we make appointments. What's a good time for you, what's a good time for me.
