I came back to Cindy's Lou's again recently and I'm happy to report their cookies and sweets are even better than ever.
I had the chocolate chip cookie and pistachios pound cake. Wow. Amazing. 10/10
From the moment you walk in the smell is amazing! The staff is friendly and there's always a sample of something to try.
A true gem in Miami!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Dec 17, 2022Previous reviewThis is my second time coming to Cindy Lou's and wow the cookies and baked goods are SO delicious. From the moment you step in, it smells wonderful. The staff is amazing and very friendly. They had samples to try a few of their goodies. I ordered the chocolate chip cookie and white macadamia cookie. They are very big cookies and made with top notch ingredients. Both cookies were absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of crunch and softness. The cookies tasted very fresh as well. If you haven't come by, definitely add it to your list!

I finally got around to checking out this place! 5+ years overdue for a visit.
I was overwhelmed by how many huge cookies they have to offer. Yes, I had some my research thanks to Yelp, but seeing the selection in person was WOW!
Thankfully, the woman working the counter was super friendly, filling me in on what they had to offer and allowing some time to sit in their cute little shop and make my decision.
I finally settled on one of the cookie specials: milk chocolate with nuts and a cafe con leche. The cafe con leche was just ok, but you're not coming here for coffee. The cookie was delicious. For the price and the size of the cookie, I couldn't eat these all the time, but I look forward to coming back and trying more yummy flavors.Helpful 25Thanks 4Love this 22Oh no 1 - 1044179Apr 2, 2024
This little hidden spot on NE 2nd Avenue in the little river district is a must try. We almost fainted when we tried this deliciousness of a cookie, the cookies are big, chewey and amazing. We tried the Nutella swirl one and omg that was worth every single calorie. The service was great, we were treated lovely. Will definitely come back for more.

I ordered the Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie!
After hearing that this bakery has the best cookies in SoFlo and tasting them for myself, I now understand why they've earned this title. This cookie was absolutely delicious and it's exactly how I prefer my cookies -- soft, chewy, gooey, chocolatey without being overpowering, and with the perfect touch of vanilla. Aside from the cookies, the storefront has an aesthetically pleasing ambiance, and their customer service is top-tier. If you're everywhere torn between flavors, they're eager to help you find one you'll love based on your preferences.
This will definitely be my go-to bakery whenever I'm craving a cookie!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 22, 2023
Awesome cookies and bakery.
Tony little location that's easy to miss, but we'll worth the hunt.
Staff is friendly and efficient.
The vibe is very much like that of a decades old, small business bakery that can be found in other parts of the country.
The prices are good, the food is great, the service is top notch, and the feel is classic.
What else can you say?Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 83177Jun 26, 2023
The best cookies I have had in Miami!!
I cannot say enough about this place! It's so good! Delicious cookies, delicious carrot cake and super friendly staff, make this place a must go for all cookie lovers! Last time I went, I ordered a oatmeal raisin, lemon cloud, red velvet and carrot cake. My family shared these over the course of a few days! They are sooo good. My favorite is oatmeal raisin, because you can really taste the oats! Honestly you can't go wrong at this place!!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 2023
Cookies the size of your face! I've had Cindy Lou's Cookies for a few years now and I have to say that they are hands down, one of the best local cookies I've had.
Their storefront has a large variety of cookie flavors plus some daily added goodies like cakes and bars. My absolute favorite is the lemon cloud cookie, which has hints of lemon and powdered sugar. I've also had the sugar, quesito, white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin, and espresso chocolate cookies.
If you're in the area, and even if you're not, please make Cindy Lou's a pitstop! You won't regret it.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mar 25, 2023
For the past few days, my boyfriend and I have been craving cookies. After a Google search of cookie places nearby, I came across Cindy Lou's Cookies. The reviews sounded promising, so today, we decided to see what this place was all about!
AMBIANCE
Firstly, this little pink shop is so cute! The moment we opened the doors, the sweet smell of baked goods filled our noses. The ambiance is fun, casual, and inviting.
SERVICE
I didn't catch her name, but the girl at the counter was so welcoming and kind. She introduced us to all of our options and gave us some info about them. Her joy and friendliness made us excited to return, even before we had our first bites.
TREATS
We came in to just pick a couple treats, but we couldn't control ourselves and kept choosing more and more things to try! Although we were tempted to get one of everything, we decided on: 1) pistachio pound cake 2) almond pound cake 3) fudge frosted sugar cookie 4) captain crunch cookie 5) quesito cookie ... WOW! The pound cakes were pillowy and moist, and sweet without being overpowering. They tasted similar to each other, with the almond cookie being a little lighter on flavor and the pistachio a little heavier on flavor. The cookies were huge and delicious! The sugar cookie was crumbly and mildly sweet like shortbread, and that fudge frosting was thick and chocolaty. The captain crunch has the perfect little crunch on the outside while being soft in the center. It was very sweet, which I enjoyed. The cereal itself has the right texture in my opinion. I was concerned it would be too hard, but it wasn't! The quesito was also yummy--very soft and a nice amount of sweetness. Everything tasted amazing.
VERDICT
It goes without saying: YES to everything! Yes, we loved the treats. Yes, we will be back. Thank you so much for everything.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 26, 2022
Cindy Lou's is probably my favorite cookie place ever.
My husband and I were looking for a dessert place to get our sweet fix in but also to bring some gifts home to California. We found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint. When we arrived we were overwhelmed by so many flavors of cookies. The staff was also very nice, very welcoming and super helpful. The girl at the counter also introduced us to Cindy herself who was the sweetest lady. We were happy to hear that they will also be opening in California soon. Mad respect to her cookie hustle.
We bought 3 bags of cookies. Honestly I wish we bought more considering how good they were. They are $4 each and all very large and pretty thick. The Quesito was their specialty flavor, which is a guava cream cheese one. My favorite was the rocky road one which had house made marshmallows and chocolate. Yummmm! I'm not usually a fan of white chocolate macadamia but I am here. It was delicious. And honestly I liked them all. Everyone who had the cookies we bought them also really enjoyed them and couldn't get enough. They even had a keto chocolate chip for my dad who is diabetic. Oh and on the day we went Cindy was making her new matcha white chocolate macadamia one.
Besides cookies they even had cakes, pies, breads, poundcake, and drinks. And sometimes the menu items change. I love that there were so many choices and variety that you are bound to find something you like. The inside is smaller but cute. There is outside seating for you to enjoy your treat and drink. There is a parking lot next to the store which makes it easy and nice. I really regret not buying more and can't wait until we can have their cookies again.Helpful 27Thanks 0Love this 19Oh no 0
