The atmosphere is great weather you're inside or out. My husband and I went here late on a Saturday night. There was a live band that was just a little too loud but they were really good otherwise. The wine was awful! I ordered a rose that was way too expensive for what it was and had to toss the glass after just 2 sips. But then I ordered a coffee and Baileys that was delicious while my husband and I sat and talked until closing.

Overall, it would be a place we would visit again.

      I'VE EATEN HERE TWICE NOW:

Local who appreciates new businesses in the area, so I gave this a try close to their opening in the late summer. This was a former German restaurant for many years and in terms of atmosphere knowing how it looked before they made a total 180. They opened up the inside and made it possible to walk from inside to the area outside, painted with light colors and livened the place up. Atmosphere overall is a 4/5- can get loud inside during peak hours.

In my first trip we sat outside and ordered the beer cheese and pretzels. And some entrees. THE BEER CHEESE IS VERY VERY GOOD. I would say it is a must order item when you come here- one or two more pretzels would be cool, but very tasty and well done.

First trip, I ordered the chicken sandwich. To be honest I wanted English food but panicked and shot from the hip and decided to play it safe but got popped. I swear the sandwich and fries was straight from the McDonalds drive thru up the road. Was very unhappy. Waitress was nice and hospitable and apologized and I promised I'd try again as it was obvious they were working out the early opening jitters. First trip was a 3.5/5.

Second trip, I decided to actually order English fare and went with the fish and chips. #1- The fish was BATTERED PROPERLY, a nice golden brown fry on it and the fish was light and fluffy. The chips were actual thick cut English style fries - not the McDonald's ones I got in my first visit. Again we got the beer cheese which again was phenomenal, and I finished it off with the tiramisu.

I would've gotten the bee sting had it been the same recipe as the old German place's but the waitress was honest and said it's similar. Dessert was good, prices were acceptable. Second trip was a 5/5

Overall this place is a 4/5. It can get loud, but during the warmer months - outside is a great option and this area especially needs new places with good food.

We've been coming here for a while now. The Fish and Chips is a must! Sweet potato fries are my wife's favorite!

If you're looking for good food or quick service, you might want to check out somewhere else! Although their trivia host is awesome, the venue is subpar at best. It took at least 15 minutes for us to be seated (with a prior reservation!) According to the host, another table seated themselves at our reserved table and they asked them to move--after already putting in their orders. Of course the table said no (I don't blame them--if they actually did seat themselves they should have been told the table was reserved BEFORE being served.) Then during the meal, we were told they were out of a few items we tried to order. As far as the food goes, stick to the basics! It's pretty hard to mess up fries... but order anything else, and you're asking for trouble.

      Sit outside

Order pretzels and cheese for an app

      Get the prime rib sandwich

      Bee sting cake for dessert

      You won't be disappointed

Call ahead for groups that are large and parking isn't the bet, yet. Servers are also still working out their kinks.

5 stars for food and atmosphere.

My new favorite place! Restaurant and Pub. Ive lived in Cumberland for over 2 years. Wish I found it sooner.

Great burgers and one of my favorite Reubens. Also perfect sweet potato fries, crispy and melt in your mouth like cake.

A really cool thing about this place is its British theme. From the authentic, imported London style tollbooth out front, to the timber framed interior, coming here is like a trip somewhere between Harry Potter and a some beautiful place from Lord of The Rings. Great escape after work.

The menu doesnt leave out American favs like: wings, flat breads, Crispy Half Chicken and Grilled Steak. It adds to those British fare like: Fish and Chips, Steak and Guiness Pie, and the ever famous Bangers and Mash. They also have British themed spirits like Pimms Cupp and Peat Scotch. Pretty cool.

Its classy, friendly, and feels like home. I want everyone to know how much it rocks!

A real nice find in the Cumberland area. British cuisine in the mountains of Maryland. I have been here twice and have never been disappointed. Something different to explore.

I initially given this place a 3 stars as a courtesy to the owner for his effort in opening a British Pub in the middle of BFE. Unfortunately my first trip to this location was not as hoped. I had the Guinness stew. I can honestly say it was the first time in my life I ever flat out did not eat anything from the meal.

The good news is I came back and I was much more impressed with the experience. The pretzels were amazing, the French onion soup was surprisingly good for a non French restaurant and the bangers and mash were just like my mum made it.

Still no sticky toffee pudding on the dessert menu but that may be another reason to come back here. Well done!

I thought I'd miss Warners forever. But now Im a regular here. The outdoor patio dining area is great - best in the Cumberland MD area. My Pembroke Welsh Corgi loves it too
