Father's Day night found us road-tired of storms and wrecked traffic on the way home to Nash Angeles. The nagrivator set a satisfied grin, plotted course, and routed me with a clear ETA. Siri failed to note streets that didn't go through. Almost out of town, almost to the fairgrounds and wagging the southbound end of Jackson is a slice of elegant charm...a fine dining gem set into the ground floor of the century-old Murphy Hotel/Neely House...

At 8 PM on a Sunday we're one of two couples in the soft-lit restaurant. This is a date spot. A come-as-you-are celebration spot. A dress-up and propose to your soulmate spot. The menu probably changes from time to time and the chef has off-the-menu specials. Tonight was excellent.

Your mileage may vary, but the house kept the kitchen open as we stayed late. The waiter even called us on the road when my credit card was discovered still in the folder on the table. The extra mile. We plan to be back and we'll bring friends.

My friend from Jackson sez "Oh. No, I never go to the south side." I wagged my head and urged her to change her foolish ways.

I can't say enough great things about this darling place. From the minute you park your car you feel special. The beautiful home that this restaurant is in has been decorated elegant with some shabby chic accents. They have a full bar and I have never had a just ok meal here; it's always special and worth every penny.

The fried green tomatoes with spicy crab are to die for!!! The service is outstanding!!

First off, those who read my reviews
know I seldom give 5's, and it goes
without saying that I wish we could
do halves, so here's my 4.5 review.

Hannah was our server, greeted us,
covered specials, had a personality,
was very outgoing & very cheerful.

Did not have an Appetizer this trip,
and instead opted for their grilled
Caesar salad, which was fabulous.

Wife ordered the Lamb, I had the
Filet special, both of which were
freaking awesome to be blunt.

Homemade Key Lime Pie, and
Chocolate Creme Brûlée were
our desserts (Picture) and we
could tell that ea. homemade,
but not over the top, very good
and worth trying at least once.

All in all, we will go back again.

What a treat. Unquestionably the finest dining in Jackson. From the moment you walk in your surrounded by an eclectic array of antique vibe mixed with contemporary flare. The staff was warm and gracious. The atmosphere inviting and pleasing. The food was delicious and thoughtful. The menu relevant, seasonal and fresh. We found the portions perfect. The food was amazing, delicious and tantalizing. If your looking for a corporate brand dining experience this isn't it. However if clean eating is what you seek in an air thats special and not Van Drive you will love it. What a great addition to the City of Jackson. We will definitely make this a regular thing.

Wonderful experience, the food was delicious and the decor was beautiful. Started with deviled eggs and grilled Romain salad with tequila vinaigrette dressing. The entrees were glazed chicken with lemon wild rice and greens and beef medallions with potatoes and greens with tomato chutney and blue cheese butter. Everything was perfectly seasoned, steak was crusted and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Finished with a magnificent chocolate cream brûlée'. Great wine collection including local wines and craft beers.

A must great food a chef not a cook lovely surroundings our second night here!!

I just had a daughter "date night" at Chandelier and the food was as fabulous as my daughter. We both were tantalized at the shrimp as a starter and the beets followed as a close 2nd. It was a great experience for food, spirits and ambiance! It was like going home again even if home was only in my mind.

The pork chop was savory, tender and quiet possibly the best I have ever eaten in the south. Retraction: anywhere!l. My "daughter date" had the Tres Major and she said it was better than anything I ever attempted to make. Incredible food with service that was outstanding!Truly worth the trip out of town and off the beaten path.

Jackson's best kept secret. The ambience is excellent the food and the staff were amazing!

Food and atmosphere was very nice. Wine menu was extensive and moderately priced. My only gripe in my experience was as follows. My wife ordered the salmon. The fish was so cold and raw in the middle the knife given during meal service could not even cut through it. No big deal it happens we politely asked for a cooked serving of salmon. The waitress smiled and said no problem. She comes back and tells my wife the chef said the salmon is served medium rare( no problem at all medium rare tuna and salmon are great) but what we were served was ice cold in the middle. Own up to your mistake instead of trying to make it sound like it's the customers lack of understanding. We never once tried to get the meal comped and once the fish was cooked properly she fully enjoyed her meal we paid and tipped as if dinner was flawless. My wife left a 4 star review on yelp which has been deleted because she mentioned the issue with dinner.
This place has great food, but telling your customer they are wrong for not wanting ice cold fish and deleting a review for what reason ?! Lastly the salmon that was brought back from the kitchen wasn't even a new cut of fish, but the one my wife attempted to cut to no avail. Came back looking like a massacre. Tasted great but come on..... hopefully this was a rare incident in what would have otherwise been a 5 star review

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal tonight. I ordered the filet, what a perfect cut of meat cooked just as I ordered. My husband ordered the pork chop paired with sweet and salty sides. The atmosphere and friendly staff put it over the top. We will definitely be back.
