I've been coming to San Vicente off and on for years. San Vicente is a good choice for those who don't want to spend thousands of dollars on healthcare costs or are uninsured. I believe you can still go if insured. I go to the clinic on Alameda but there's others around town. I think the other clinics are in the eastside and downtown. Before getting an appointment, they'll ask you to register first. You can make an appointment to do this or just show up. If you just show up, the wait could be hours. You have to show them proof of your residency (a utility bill with your name and address) and check stubs from employment. They like to see check stubs from one month, so two to four recent ones. My co-pays have typically been $25. Getting bloodwork done has run around $20 for me. It all depends on whether or not you're offered a discount when you register. I also purchase prescriptions here, which are also a bargain compared to other places. If you go in as a walk-in, be prepared to wait at least three or four hours. For the costs I pay, I think it's worth it. They open at 6:30 am. It's best to get there as early as possible. I usually get there at 9 or 10 am. It's usually already packed by that time.
I think there needs to be more clinics like this. I forgot to mention...San Vicente also has a dental clinic. I have not been. I've liked all of the doctors and nurse practitioners here. I'm pretty bad with names but they've always been female. I prefer that. Yup, I'll be coming back!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Ed D.El Paso, TX3126Feb 15, 2021
My wife and I are both over 65 and we registered to get our COVID 19 vaccinations at Centro San Vicente. When they called us, they gave us very specific information and guided us through the process. They also followed up by sending us two reminder texts to be sure we did not forget the date. When we arrived, the staff quickly told us where to park and within minutes they greeted us and described how they were going to proceed. Very professional and efficient operation. We never had to leave our car and we were driving home in less that 40 minutes. That included a 15 minute post shot period to see if we had any side effects. Thank you management and staff of Centro San Vicente. Great Job.

This place is really starting to bug me. When I called they told me that they take walk-ins, so I drove over there and they told me I have to make an appointment to register. Just to register, the appointment was over a month away, and after that I would have to schedule another appointment to actually be seen. I finally went into see my doctor, and honestly she was nice. But since that visit, I have called a few times and have never heard back or actually been able to reach my doctor, which is infuriating! Ready to give up on this place.

Worst medical center and pharmacy. They are so slow and make you wait forever to get service, the employees are rude and they act like they don't care. I guess you get what you paid for.

I went as a walk in a few years ago for some eye irritation. After 3 hrs Dr.Lozano received me. He looked at me and said " we can't do nothing to your eye till you go blind " then he left. I was devastated and I cry cuz I was planning my wedding and this change everything. My mom told me to go to Juarez so I did. I when to a pharmacy and they gaive me some drops for 6 dlls and in 1 day the redness in my eye was gone. 3 years latter my eye is still good. Now I had to go in as a walk in again and it was with him ugh but I had no choice. I had issues breathing and I was hearing my blood pumping on my ear and its uncomfortable. So the check inn lady told me that I had to tell her what was wrong with me cuz Dr Lozano gets mad if its not an important issue so I told her which I felt so uncomfortable then I get called by a nice lady that took my blood pressure and says "you have low pressure hu" I told her I have never been told that and then she takes it again and say a you are good then. I was already regretting going to them. I told her my issues as well. Then the doctor comes in and asks what's wrong and I told him again then he said " I can only take a look at one thing, so is it the breathing or the ear?" Ok I was done I will never go too him ever again he is a horrible doctor.
