BEWARE!!!! My elderly mother's home is presently listed with this company. My mother is in an assisted living facility. Her home is listed with Sotheby's in Savannah, GA. Under the so-called watch of this company we now have a very valuable art print missing which has been reported to the police department and other authorities. Our agent has been careless in leaving lights on and not properly securing the home. There was no external break in. You do the math! I have called Ms. Dunn on several occasions only to be met with excuses. I refused to deal with the agent originally listed, and another was assigned. You see, we have a buyer, so the only thing that appears to be of concern to Ms. Dunn, apparently, is the bottom dollar of profit! I am a business owner myself, and the professional thing to do would be to offer some consolation of at least a phone call. I happened to come home unexpectedly to check on my mother's house without notifying the agent. Not only did I discover the valuable Jacob Lawrence Art Print "The Schomburg Library" missing, but another painting 5ft x 4.5 ft was off the wall and sitting on the floor in another room. I have notified every museum, art council and auction house etc to be on the look out for this piece. This company deals with very high end homes and clients that want to trust the name of Sotheby's. Sotheby's corporate name falls under "REALOGY HOLDINGS" which not only has Sotheby's but companies such as Century 21 etc. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY A FIVE STAR RATING. WHEN SOMETHING GOES SOUTH, HOW WILL THE COMPANY STAND BY ITS NAME. SO FAR,
THIS ONE HAS NOT. THIS IS MY FACT AN OPINION!

My family and I recently made the move across country to settle in Savannah and I have found this to be one of the highest stress events of my life. We were so fortunate to have found Therese McMillan and Jess Truex, at Celia Dunn - Sotheby's, to assist us in finding our new home; they made this the one portion of the move that was easy and stress free.

It's been a few years since I've lived in Savannah, but I was thinking about all the people I dealt with there in terms of apartment rentals, and I thought I would take a second to give credit where credit is due. The people of Celia Dunn were nothing but gregarious and gracious.

I lived in a house they managed for two years. Paying rent was easy and stress-free, I never had any creepy run-ins with owners waltzing in, and the people in the office were absolutely great! The one time I had a problem (smoke detector was placed in a weird spot above a stair case so it was near impossible to reach without risking a hospital visit) they sent someone out the next day to put a new one in. I believe I got my full deposit back at the end too.
