I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Carter of Carter Framing & Art a few days before Christmas. I finished drawing a rendition of a dear family summer home and that was recently sold and needed it framed and matted in a hurry to give as a gift. I needed to get my Boss a plaque made FAST! Long story short, my Nana told me about this place and I ordered a plaque and it was ready within 7 days. It was a 7 day miracle and my Boss could not have been more happier at the plaque that was presented to her. I respect the Owners professionalism, intelligence, and his goal to ONLY make quality work! I highly recommend this place.

Stores definitely come & go in Petersburg, but there's a reason that Carter Framing has been there a long time! I would hands down recommend Mr. Carter for anything and everything you need framed. Over the years we've framed high school/college diplomas, professional photos, non professional photos, 9th grade artwork and the framing has always surpassed what I had in mind. I found a shadow box at Michael's and brought it to Carter Framing with the idea of matting a picture in the back. Mr Carter worked with me to design exactly what I wanted and the end result turned out awesome.

Mr. Carter once again came through for us. We mailed him a print and we did all the choices over email and through photos. The finished product turned out even better than expected. We will drive the two hours from Manassas just to have him frame our prints. He never disappoints and he really understands what the customer is after. We've used other framers in a pinch and none have ever compared to the work done by Carter Framing.
