I enjoyed working with the sales person and designer at Carls, but I'm very disappointed in the follow-through. After an estimate of 10-12 weeks for delivery of a sofa and ottomans, it will be 19 weeks on Tuesday, with no more word than "They're on the next truck." I know it's not Carls' fault, but it seems like they could put more pressure on the company that makes the sofa and ottomans, rather than take a "we've got your money, you're on your own" attitude. I'll think twice before doing business with Carls in the future.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. The way they run business is simply unacceptable. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Make sure you listen when you buy there. After spending over 10K in the store furnishing my house, I tried to return 2 items that simply were too big for my bedroom. We haven't unpacked them and haven't even unloaded from the delivery truck. Furniture went back straight to their warehouse. No hassle. When I asked for a refund for just two pieces out of 15 that I bought, I was told that I could only get store credit. I wasn't aware of that at all. They have no customer service skills there. Manager was not helpful at all. We tried to contact the owner of the store, but still didn't get any answer. If you could, save yourself some money and time and shop somewhere else.

How this company stays in business I'll never know. I special ordered furniture back in jan 2013 and I'm still waiting for it. It's excuse after excuse until someone at the store told me it's unlikely I'll ever get it because the company is going out of business. Don't shop here! You will realize it the minute you walk I'm to this dump.

NO STAR -The absolute worst experience I have ever had shopping anywhere. This company has horrible customer service and they are a disaster to deal with. We bought a bedroom set , we paid for it ,only to find out after paying for the furniture that the company could not deliver the furniture. We asked for our money back, only to have Carls demand a restocking fee. All of the managers and customer service people were nasty and insulting. We fought with the company including the owner who would do nothing at all for us. We ultimately decided to pay the restocking fee rather than do business with this disaster of a company. Think about it, we paid money not to do business with this shame of a company. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM ANY CARLS FURNITURE AS YOU CAN!!!

I could not believe what I saw when I walked into Carls. The place loked like a store that is going out of business. Carls used to be considered top notch but now it seems like they are using the name to sell lower quality furniture. I still for some reason chose to purchase a sofa after my horrible first impression. This was a BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! After 4 months, I still have not received my merchandise which I paid for. I went back to get a refund and they were only willing to give a store credit. What kind of scam is this store running?? Do yourself a favor and shop at a place that will not go out of business while you are still waiting on your delivery.

Very pleased with the sales person, Mary Ann. The sofa and love seat arrived as promised 5 days after purchase. The delivery people did a very good job. We are very happy with the purchase.

I ordered 2 leather love seats was promised 12 week delivery.....8 months later, they finally arrived. I contacted our sales person, the store manager and ultimately the president of the company, only to be told, it was on the next shipment or we'll get back to uou...Both statements were of course lies. Once they had the downpayment Carl's would not assist us in getting accurate information as to the status of our order. I will never, ever buy from them again and would warn anyone not to purchase from them

Went to the store to look for furniture. Was not very happy. Store looked old and seemed to not be kept up very well. Not the bright new showroom I like to see when buying furniture.

Walking around the store it was not very clean. Furniture on the floor looked like it has not been dusted in months. It was also warm in the showroom with a bit of an odor.. The furniture quality also seemed different then I remembered from years past. A lower quality but still high retail prices.

We decided to buy furniture from them since we recently bought a house.
They happened to have a nice set of furniture imported from Italy that we really liked, therefore we bought it.
That's when all the trouble started. We made the purchase at the beginning of October, and were told our order would be in by the end of the month. The next week we found out our order was not going to come in until January. We were very upset but were able to change the order to something else they had in stock, however we kept just one piece of furniture that we originally chose (knowing we would have had to wait until January).
January finally came, and soon enough even February was gone, but still no word about our order. Towards the end of February I actually had to go to the store and complain about the situation. I expected to receive a refund and end it there since the delivery already got postponed too many times. That's when the manager pointed out a bunch rules that we were not aware of (written in the back of the paper and barely readable) about some restocking fees (about 20% of the value of the item).
I was furious but had no choice other than take what the manager wanted to give me: a small discount (less than 5%) and a loaner from the floor until the actual ordered piece would come.
It's not over yet! May comes around and I finally get a phone call saying my order came in and it was ready for delivery; however the manager (John Aldao) also told me that his offer (of the discount plus the loaner) got overwritten by the company and therefore I was not going to get the discount.
I was shocked, but I am happy I'm finally done with this scam company.
It was terrible to do business with them.
