Perfect place for a brewery tour, some drinks, and to hear some good music.
I admit, sadly, that I held off on this tour for my last few visits because I didn't think it would be as interesting as some of the newer places, but I was SO WRONG. Pabst is a great space with some cool live music and really nice people working here, and by far the best, most engaging tour you'll get at a brewery around here. There's a lot going on here and the most surprising part to me was that the space where you take the tour is treated more like a microbrewery as opposed to a sanitized operation inside a major, behemoth organization, which was really interesting when on site.
Great place to check out and hang out after the tour is done.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 22, 2019
It's Five Star Week!!!!!
I was visiting fam in MKE, so I had to stop by Pabst. Its on Juneau & 11th in DT Milwaukee.
I ordered the 8 flight beer ($16 | that included a regular PBR and an Andeker. The two foregoing beers were my faves. Idk that there were so many Pabst beers.
Regarding the ambiance, its very cool in here. There is a stage for music and a musician happened to be playing when I was present: 5 Stars.
Cait(lin) was an awesome bartender. She was super knowledgable and very friendly. Cait was kind enuf to let me know they also have good food here (but I was stuffed): 5 Stars.
Pabst is on the must do list for MKE, and I totally agree. There's nothing like a PBR and good music.Helpful 31Thanks 0Love this 31Oh no 0 - 3837674863Nov 26, 2018
Who knew Pabst brewed so many different styles of beer! I sure didn't. Pabst hill as I like to call the area on the backside of Milwaukee, where there has been a surge of revitalization, is where the mighty Pabst calls home for all things Pabst. From Gift Shops to tours the hill holds the keys to all that.
Upon entry to the hall, you will head upstairs to a squeaky-clean pub. Lots of bright lighting, bug windows and an overall view of Milwaukee like no other. It begs you to forget where you are situated in the urban landscape of MKE. Lots of various Pabst brewed delights on tap here and a space that is both kid friendly and beer drinker friendly to boot. We enjoyed a couple beers here and I am in need to come back and experience the tour!
Cheers to Pabst and making a cool venue to host this one of a kind brew!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - 130113497Sep 3, 2019
We go to the Pabst Brewery & Taproom every time we visit Milwaukee. So we've been here several times. It's on our list of favs.
Love this place! This time, we sat outside. It was such a gorgeous day. Our bartender was so knowledgeable and friendly. He could carry on a conversation about beer, liquor...you name it...we were talking about it. The food we ordered was so tasty! We had the giant stuffed tots...buffalo chicken and garlic parmesan. We sampled several beers, drank a few and got a couple crowlers to go.
If you have a chance to do the tour, do it. It's interesting. And you get a beer for it. Our tour guide was really entertaining.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 23, 2018
Wow, what a fun and very unique space! I visited the Taproom on a Friday evening for a fundraiser event. I was in awe of the giant neon Pabst sign on the ceiling, and it took me a moment to realize I was in an old church. It is a gorgeous space, with a large bar, stage, and upstairs seating area. The bathrooom is SO COOL - there is a giant mural on the wall that is likely a popular selfie spot (so..... I took a selfie in front of it..... lol).
There are many amazing beers on tap in this room :P The sour beer was my favorite! I love fruity sour beers, and this one did not disappoint. The "EZ Like Sunday Morning" beer was also incredible - it was light, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried the Oatmeal Stout, yum yum yum. I give all 3 beers 5 stars! The bartenders were very relaxed and friendly, they were happy to offer samples and explain the uniqueness of each beverage.
I must when they are serving food, and for the beers. Definitely for the beers! :DHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jan 9, 2018
FUN TIMES HERE. This place was great! Stopped in to use my new 2018 Pub Pass and got a sweet beer at the bar. From the looks of the place, it is fairly new. I was one of the only people at the bar but the place has some major potential. The bar tender was very helpful and the service was great. They have games, food, a cool tap room and of course BEER. I'd tell everyone to try it out.
Also, the whole area surrounding the PB is filled with bars & cool spots. Check it outHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sep 3, 2019
My husband and I stopped at Pabst for a flight of beers on an afternoon this past holiday weekend. The taproom has a small outdoor area with hammocks and a bar. We went upstairs to the larger bar. It was pretty empty, which was surprising. It's a big space, and they were playing some great music. When we left, a band was setting up, so maybe it gets busier later in the evening when there's live music? I've obviously had PBR, but I'd never had any other Pabst beer. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and variety of beers at the taproom! We tried a few great beers (we had a flight). A fun place to spend a few afternoon hours!

Enjoyed my first visit to this establishment yesterday as part of a joint event between the Taproom and MKE Yoga Social. It's a terrific venue for an event. Large, bright, well laid out, and with some beautiful historic craftsmanship and charm.
The management and staff are very knowledgable, polite, and actively engaged with the customers. After yoga, we hung around for a few hours chatting it up with the GM, and then checked out a great blues singer on the stage.
Beer selection was incredible. You must try the Horizontal Passion IPA, and the PBR Hard Coffee. Both were amazing. They also offer a pub menu with a great looking walleye, spicy cheddar broccoli soup, and from what I hear some phenomenal cheese curds.
I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 4, 2019
I came here for one of their Dog Days events which was a ton of fun and welcome during the cold winter months when patio season is still far away.
The kitchen was closed while we were there which was disappointing but the drink selection was very good and the flight prices (and sizes) were extremely affordable. We got a 8 glass flight split between 2 people which essentially let us taste almost the whole beer list. I hate coffee drinks but they have a light body one that was delicious.
The interior is nice and the bar is enormous. I wish they had some more seating besides the picnic table layout but I get that they are going for a beer garden vibe.
I'd come back for another event or if I were in the area but not sure I would specifically make the trip just to go here without an event.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brooke C.Grand Rapids, MI4311111Sep 2, 2019
A must-do while in Milwaukee!!!
Prior to going, I was not sure what to expect as I am not a huge PBR drinker. But this brewery had it all - great beers, a fun/interesting tour and a nice venue!
Pabst had the best beers I had tried in Milwaukee, a nice mix of seasonal and classic beers. They also had some light appetizers.
The tour was 30 minutes long and was very enjoyable. You are able to bring your beer from the bar on the tour and we got to sample 4 beers while on the tour. You also get a souvenir glass with a free beer token at the end of the tour! Well worth the $11!
There's a small outdoor area to enjoy as well when the weather is nice!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
