Cape Cod Fish

This is a great place to stop after spending time on Sanibel Island and heading back to Fort Myers (or wherever!). It was a bit after 3:00 and we were seated (outside) immediately. Our server was there pronto to take and deliver our drink order. She was very friendly and efficient. The outside has a real island feel, laid back and casual. We didn't go inside, but I am sure it's similar.

We both ordered the cod fish and chips/jumbo shrimp combo basket. The fish and shrimp tasted fresh and the batter was well seasoned. The fries were good, skin on, which we like. The coleslaw was light, a little tart and refreshing. Speaking of refreshing, try the limoncello sangria, very good! We will be back!

This is one restaurant that tastes as good as the photos online, and also the only restaurant whose food actually looks like the photos they post when you get it served. Fish n chips are perfectly portioned . Not that gigantic piece I get in RI that's all batter.

My favorites: Salmon Tacos, NE Clam Chowder, of course the lobster roll, Big surprise to us were the Truffle fries but you gotta share 'em.

Great fish and chips along with a cup of the best New England clam chowder. Ask for chips to be crispy . Great flavors along with nice outside dining.

This was such a great hole in the wall find for us. The restaurant is hidden, very casual with not a lot of frills but the food is the star of the show here. You can tell that this place has a nice following, many of the guests that were dining seemed to be locals and regulars. The staff was again, casual, but they were super honest, helpful, and seemed to have a passion for their job, it was refreshing. We ordered some mussels in a portuguese mussels and omg- the flavor was amazing. We then had 2 rolls and we were just in heaven.

Food was delicious and service was fast. Best seafood tacos I've had; go with the blackened shrimp. Kids meals even came with a popsicle at the end. Great dinner out with the family, in and out in under an hour. Sat outside and sangria was sweet and refreshing in the sun. Great job!

Absolutely fantastic quality seafood and just food PERIOD especially for Florida. The fried seafood portions are paltry, but the food is QUALITY. Service was great. Clam chowder was amazing. So are the handmade FRIES! The Love Boat ice cream (supplied from a local ice cream shop) was terrible. Half melted and refrozen and just crap quality ice cream. But that's not their fault.

Food is great!!! Service is less than desirable. We sat at our table for five minutes and the waitress gave us our drinks when we sat down but then ignored us for at least five minutes or longer. Then a couple sat down next to us and she got them their drinks and food and my wife who went to the bathroom had come back and asked if I had ordered or not. I said no but she decided to help the next table first. Then she under her breath said "said I serve everyone at the same time " and then finally took our order. Not very good service. The food is the best but will get it to go in the future so I don't have to be treated this way and lied to about the service. I think her name was Kate. Such a shame.

Great little restaurant with good service and nice fresh seafood, nice, cozy environment with very friendly staff. I had the fried captains platter with cod scallops and shrimp. Super good and fresh. The only reason I don't give the restaurant five stars is because I haven't tried other menu items but soon will.

Been going for years, it nails the target of simple, fresh, friendly seafood. Casual with in/outside seating. Cod dishes and lobster rolls nicely executed, skin on fries, well seasoned tacos. Grandpa said hot dogs just ok, but we're here for COD! Nice lunch specials for lighter portions. Friendly ladies attentive but not obtrusive. Never been empty when I've gone!!
