The food is subpar bar food, the service is inattentive and rude. Drive a bit down the road and eat at The Heritage instead.

Pizza was really good, however the service was horrible. The bar tender screwed up our drink order. never apologized for the error and was clearly pissed when I asked her for what I ordered. Just rude. She was not friendly at all. There are plenty of restaurants with great food in the area. There is no reason to put up with unfriendly service.

My family and I were vacationing in the area and there were very limited options in the area to eat on Monday and this place was right down the road. The boys wanted pizza and I thought, even bad pizza is good enough right? So I ordered 3 large pizzas and picked up about 30 minutes later. Now keep in mind, this review is based on expectations. I never go into these back country bars expecting a fine dining experience. All and all, we all agreed their pizza was very tasty and was a good value for what we got. It was so good as a matter of fact that when I told my college age boys that the place had a boneless wing special on Wednesday night there was no talking them out of it. I think the special was 20 wings and fries for $8 and when I asked they said they had multiple sauces. So we got 3 orders, and got a variety of sauces. When we opened the boxes we did not see boneless wings, we saw breaded chicken nuggets with dipping sauce on the side. But to be honest, we didn't care. They were huge, tasty, and you got a ton of food for $8. Their sauces were good too.

Can't really speak to the in house dining but the place looked nicely updated on the inside and the two ladies were friendly enough. I did find it interesting when I asked them why they had a mug shot of some scary looking guy as their profile picture on Yelp, they didn't even know about it and had no idea they had a yelp page.

Bottom line, if you are in the area I would give this place a shot. We would go back!

Located in Stephenson- accept cash or credit- okay food- very greasy- tons of food- okay service. I probably could find less greasy food, and for that I wouldn't go back.
