Ordered online for pick up. Drove in from Eagle Mountain!
Pollo Asado Burrito (extra$) began eating the burrito and found that there was a total of 4-5 pieces of chicken in the entire burrito?!? Very disappointing!
No tomatillo dressing as ordered.
Ordered 2 servings of chips and queso they tried giving us one small bag of chips when questioned associate says, "I guess you would like another bag?!?" WTH?!? Definitely since I did order 2.
Ridiculous service. We should have read the reviews before trying this location!

I have been to this restaurant multiple times in the 3 years I've lived in Saratoga Springs and this place has always been good but now I will never ever ever go to this location ever again and maybe not Cafe Rio.
After having a very stressful day I decided to order Cafe Rio on DoorDash. I ordered two things because I was going to eat one for dinner. I ordered enchiladas one with chicken and one with shredded beef and a
Tostada with shredded beef. The chicken enchilada tasted off I don't exactly know what was going on with it other than it tasted off. The tostada also seemed off and I only ate a few bites before I tossed it. Nothing has ever been this bad at this location and eating 1/8 of my food is not characteristic of me.
About 2 hours after eating here, I felt incredibly sick but didn't put the two together and just continued to work and work. By the time it was time to get off of work I had gone from feeling not that great to feeling incredibly ill and I have been ill since. Like going to instacare and getting fluids ill. I also had a fever of 104.
Turns out I have pretty severe food poisoning campylobacter. I have missed an entire week of work and still am not feeling better enough to I go back to work. I go back to the doctor tomorrow. Ordered food online got wrong meat and wrong beans. We came in and the company service rep went above what was expected to fix messed up order.

Did an online order and sadly they messed up on my first order. Waited for another 10-15 minutes for them to remake it. But this time they totally messed up on the whole thing. I had gotten the 2 enchiladas entree, shredded chicken and beef with rice and black beans. But instead they gave me 2 shredded chicken enchiladas with tons of lettuce and tomatoes.

Just got some soup for my sick child and in the one bite I took there was a massive piece of glass. We called and they said they'd refund us but I don't feel like that's enough. Definitely throw away all the soho and start fresh. Won't be returning to cafe Rio, this could literally kill.

Do not go here.
Long story short we got a refund on our entire order because of how rude the employees were.

I've ordered delivery three times with extra meat.
You're not getting any type of meat. You're getting rice and beans in your burrito and that's it. This has been over a span of a year so they're probably identifying it's a delivery and they don't give you what you paid for.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Cafe Rio is a great go-to dinner option, although I find that it's becoming less affordable than it once was. But with prices raising across the board I guess it's to be expected! It's still hard to fork over nearly $11 for a quesadilla though... That being said, the food is tasty! I will say that at this location especially I notice a lack of finesse when it comes to the staff creating and serving meals. I'm talking burrito swimming in salsa (aka soggy burro) and kids quesadilla covered in sweet pork sauce (aka my kid is now covered in sauce). Speaking truthfully, I will choose Costa Vida over Cafe Rio for this reason, along with better prices and meal options. At the end of the day though, Cafe Rio is good food and I don't regret my visit.

How would customers get a "wrong order" when the ingredients are right in their faces, are telling the employee what to put where and watching them doing it? I've never gotten a wrong one. I have eaten there countless times and never got food poisoning. Also if you perceive a "slow" service it's because it is always packed during peak hours which is a good sign. Employees are very polite and pay attention to details. I don't believe in reviews for they are submitted by flawed and biased humans. I rather get to the place and find it myself. I highly recommend it!!!
