Cafe Modi

Stopped by some breakfast (served 9:00-12:00). Very limited breakfast option left us no choice but to seek another place to eat.
We did get some fresh juice here (20 crowns per 100ml).

Beautiful interior with some pictures all around.

Cute cafe. Good selection of coffee and espresso. We tried a few of the seasonal specials and they were all tasty. Prices were fine for the neighborhood- no complaints.

The service on the other hand was a little hit and miss, hence four stars instead of five.

Delicious and cute. This place is definitely somewhere you can come sit and relax while you plan your day. Conviently located I had a piece of honey cake and a cappuccino (double). I would.highlu recommend this place to anyone in town visiting. They have wifi and great staff.

Wonderful, cozy spot with excellent coffee and breakfasts. We found ourselves coming back every morning that we were in Prague. Friendly and efficient staff.

The food is actually not bad but we didn't get half of it and when we went back in to ask about it they got really mad and just gave us back the money instead of the missing sandwich.
The waiters weren't nice at all!

I remember this delightful coffee shop from my last visit to Prague when I stayed in nearby hostel. Hostel was not my favorite but this coffee shop was lovely. They are so friendly here and ambiance is cozy and modern. This summer it is exactly same as last summer. Latte is lovely and croissant is yummy. Service very kind and sweet.

I would just like to note that I went here today with my laptop to take advantage of the free wifi at about 1 pm. I purchased a total of 4 drinks (3 americanos and a smoothie) I ordered one drink every time she came up to me in order to make sure I wasn't taking up unfair space at a table - and at around 4pm the waitress came up to me and told me I had to leave because the owner doesn't like it when "people sit around with their laptops." She wasn't rude or anything but it was still annoying because it's not like I ordered one drink and sat there for five hours...

Anyway. Getting kicked out of anywhere leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Loved the double cappuccino, croissant and pastries I got here for breakfast. Wished I had more time to spend trying other items because the staff was very sweet and the art on my cappuccino was world class!

The coffee is ok (comparable or maybe even a notch below your everyday Starbucks). Came here to try their cake and instantly changed my mind after stepping into the room.

The entire food looked a bit overaged. Finally, they didn't have sweetener. Clear result: avoid and go somewhere else.

Saw this place a few times at karlovo namesti and had been wanting to go inside. When I finally did, I was glad and impressed by this place. The interior was very nice, and with a clean and organized layout. Their pastries are all displayed by the counter, so you can take a look at what they have to offer. It seems they have paninis, pastries, and cakes of different sorts to choose from. I had their vanilla glazed creme filled pastry and is was the best! I also had a cafe latte there that was very good.

Service here is prompt and friendly, some of the servers speak a bit of english for those of you who do not speak any Czech. This cafe is also rather cheap for its location right near transit, beautiful interior and quality products. I will be back to try more!
