Bush's Chicken

Awful! The food was barely lukewarm warm what a waste of 29.40 ! Livers were awful and the chicken tenders were not even lukewarm warm. Avoid at all cost!

We stopped to eat at bush's on our way home from. San Antonio, we usually just just the drive threw. It decided to go in. The restrooms were very dirty and smelly. the dining area was too. The floors were dirty and tables sticky, also dead flies on the window sills. On another note though the food was good . They were not busy so I think staff should have been cleaning and sweeping.

Avoid at all cost!! Where to begin? Walking in, the floor was super slippery with grease. The young lady at the counter didn't seem to have any speed other than 'sweet time'. We went sit down only to find every single table filthy. Luckily I had Clorox wipes and cleaned off the table AND seats. The wipe was gray after cleaning up leading me to believe they hadn't been cleaned in days!! After waiting for what seemed like an eternity for our food, I was not surprised to be disappointed once more. The food was completely cold and looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while. And I could see why since they had piles of chicken under the heat lamp. I just couldn't understand why it took as long as it did since the lobby was empty and the drive thru was not very busy. I've been to other locations and have not had an experience like this. We will not be going back to the Castroville Bush's ever again. I would have given it zero stars but that's not an option. If you decide to then I wish you better luck than ours.

I've been coming here for 4 years and never would I think this place would rip me off. I order 2 exact plates and one of the plates were missing it's tenders and this one nearly MISSING HALF THE FOOD not to mention the tenders are the size of my damn finger. The food was cold and the girls have no experience in working the window or customer service. These employees should really be trained before starting the job

Consistently giving me 3-4 chicken strips when I order 6 as well as the saddest amount of fries I've ever seen. Used to love eating here but seems like I'm just gonna go hungry if I keep going here. Never been inside but the drive through service is fine.

Hankering some Texas Fried Chicken tenders on a lunch hour and being this one is the one nearest me, I made the trip to Castroville. There was a line in the dual drive thru set up and employees were eagerly taking orders. Once I placed the order I got everything in about 3-5 minutes without anyone ahead of me I was on my way back to the suburbs. Once home, the chicken tenders were still fresh and crispy pairs well with their gravy and crinkle crispy fries and their warm butter roll, yum! Five stars for the food, exceptional services and quick in and out, p.s don't forget the bag of ice at $1.00 with tax!

Today I visited this location l, and encountered a young lady by the name of Jamie. She was extremely knowledgeable about the items, and even more pleasant. This young lady absolutely made my day from the moment I entered until the time I departed. She ensured that my lengthy order was accurate, and served hot. I can't say enough about Jamie, and the food was top notch as well. Thank you Bush's Castorville and Jamie for making my visit something to rave about!

Rude workers. Poor customer service. Never recommend this place to anyone. Workers always on phone. Music is rap full of bad words.
