Burtons Grill & Bar

This is a pretty consistent meal with a chain restaurant at this point. The bar is known for the pickup scene and you can see plenty of single ladies being swarmed by men looking to buy them a drink.

Dining room is a bit dark and loud but the staff is friendly and the food is rather consistent. Sometimes the temperature of food is low and you need to send it back but it always returns as it should have been delivered to the table the first time.

Again, good place and great pick up spot from all that I have heard from single guy friends.

Every Burton's location I have been to has been great! My favorite is Market Street in Lynnfield, MA but I also like the Burlington, MA and Andover, MA locations. My favorite appetizers are the Crispy Calamari and the Spinach and Artichoke dip. My favorite Salads/bowls are the Ahi Tuna Bowl and Southwest Chicken Salad. In my opinions the best Burger/Sandwich is the Max burger and my favorite Burtons Classics is the Chicken Piccata. Finally I would pick the Steak Frites and the Crab Cakes are the best seafood on the menu!

A wonderful made to order scratch kitchen located in a busy parking lot in Andover. Burtons has a full gluten free menu and has plenty of items for everyone in your party to chose from. Burtons does get busy, so I would recommend calling ahead or putting in a reservation. My group did not and we had to wait around 45 minutes for a table. Burtons has an upscale feel that is friendly on your wallet. This is a great place to visit!

I'm giving them a 5 star rating. The service was impeccable. We took our mothers out for an early Mother's Day dinner. My Crab Crusted Haddock was delicious. All the other plates listed were very good as well. Their bread service was amazing. We ate it so fast, I forgot to take a picture. A must try and will be back for sure.

I ordered a general Taos bowl, but it was nothing like general Taos. It was a few pieces of grilled chicken.
Why offer it if you can't do it the correct way

I have been a longtime customer of Burton's and tonight I had the worst experience ever. It's makes me feel badly for creating this post, as the food was great and ambiance alway beautiful! We had reservations for 5pm, which wasn't located in the system. The woman at the front seemed to be very overwhelmed this evening. Our server was very dismissive and borderline rude! She really had a chip on her shoulder tonight! After years of patronage, your hostesses and server truly made a special dinner outing with my teacher friends a really disappointing one! Thank you to the young man that found our server to take our order after a half hour...and thank you to the chefs!

Your front of house needs to be addressed please! It's not fair to the folks preparing the food and not fair to your customers. Do better.

The food has gone down but the prices wayyy up! it used to be that they used to have specials on hamburgers every Monday night for 10.00! in PEABODY now you don't even get free bread. If you have a salad, they charge you four dollars for a little loaf. And the coffee, four dollars for a little espresso size cup! what happened to a nice mug of coffee he didn't even ask me if I wanted a cappuccino or a latte he just brought me this little tiny cup of coffee. It was cold.

Love this place - for ordering online. Food is great. Prices are ridiculously high but the food does not disappoint. The bread service is amazing. Food seems to travel well and they put some effort into the presentation, even though it's going through GH or DD service. Only one thing I would like to see- maybe change up the desserts. They only have two and it's been the same two desserts for many months.

Food was very good. Ambiance was lively. Our waitress was terrific! Nicole was able to be attentive to our fussy requests and made sure we were happy with everything. She checked in several times. We will certainly request her next time we go.

We hadn't been to Burton's for some time for health reasons and looked forward to going back last night. The ambiance is still the same BUT. The female server was efficient but cold and it was busy so the service slow- martini took a long while to deliver. Caesar salad was great but no anchovies were on it or asked preference. My espresso martini was too overloaded with vanilla cream, served in a small glass and amount skimpy. I ordered Ribeye medium rare @ $45.00 - no bread was served or asked for. My ribeye was medium well, no pink, quite thin and really not a tasty piece of meat.
The server did agree it was way overcooked and offered to bring another or take off the bill.
I opted off the bill - way too late for another.
She brought IPad bill with option 20%, 25% or 30%.
Always tipping 20 % or more because I have been in hospitality all my life, I still found this offensive,
Nothing we experienced last night would warrant a gratuity of over 20% and for many 15 % would certainly suffice. And everyone should have an option. The prices are high but that's ok when you meet customer expectations- I think Burtons is on the slippery slope and we won't be back.
