Late posting, but this company was excellent. The value, the customer service, & the blinds we selected, were perfect.
Rep was John Sun & he was friendly, knowledgeable & made our experience great!

I recently opened a brand new fixer upper shop for my business in San Gabriel. I found John online, and he was very responsive, polite and professional. His rates are reasonable, and he installed the blinds on the schedule that he had promised.
I would definitely use him again in the future!

I had Budget Blinds dress 14 windows with pull up blinds recently. Turn around time was great and the windows look fantastic. The installers were very aware and careful of my stuff. I would use Budget Blinds again.

It is a year or more, and I have a love hate relationship with my blinds. The horizontal blinds for the windows are good and easy to clean and operate, although one of them has a short control string so I have to raise my heels to operate it. Not sure why they made it so short all of a sudden. But the vertical blind for the patio is really annoying. It is quite durable all right, but the spacing between the blinds changes with pull and twist of the control strings and the blinds fail to maintain their distance between each other such that sometimes one is turned in the wrong angle and it became impossible to close the blinds until I flipped it back. Also it has become impossible to totally close the blinds altogether for full privacy as the blinds were slightly concave instead of flat. It is worst than my old blinds which I was trying to improve. I ended with a costly monster that I struggle everyday. John said I should upgrade the rails to higher performance ones. I will remember this for my next blind.

We had a great experience they had a lot of choices in patterns, colors, material and shades styles.
John our consultant was so kind and always came out to meet us either at our old residence or new home. He was fast and didn't make us wait days in btwn our consultations.
The final product was installed super quick and they look beautiful, see my photos.

John deserves 5 stars but Budget Blinds 4 stars the only thing i didnt like was that the small windows have 2 cords which is weird so basically one side goes up with one cord and vice versa. I just wish they all had 1 cord per roman shade.

I hope to work with John again in the future hes awesome!

Do not order products from Budget Blinds. Their quality of my blinds are very poor.
In May 2020 I ordered vertical blinds cost over $1,100 from San Gabriel location of Budget Blinds. In August 2020 The blinds were installed. In January 2021 the fabric of the valance separated. The Budget Blinds replaced and installed a new valance at no cost. They were responsible at that time. However, the blinds were only good for 5 months. In August 2021 the valance's fabric separated again. I contacted them and was told they will replace a new valance but I have to pay the shipping $60 plus the installation $79. I asked them what would happen if the problem appears again and was told I have to keep paying every time they replace the valance.
This is very frustrating and disappointing. It appears to me that the product is of poor quality and should not be sold. Instead of compensating me for the product falling apart this company wants me to keep paying every few months.

We were so pleased AGAIN with the plantation shutters we got through Budget Blinds Monrovia. First time around was for our living room. Second time around for home office and guest room. Andres was again very professional in every step of the process. He again worked around our schedules and was very accommodating. The estimate again he gave was spot on from ordering to delivery and installation. He again was always readily available by phone or text for any questions we may have had. We were able to get expert Todd on our second install. We will definitely recommend Budget Blinds to our friends and family.

I have known John Sun, owner of Budget Blinds, for nearly 10 years and have not only referred him to clients of mine but have used him for my own home.
I never have to worry when I refer him as I know he will be extremely honest and professional and will work with what is best for the client rather than just trying to sell product. My clients have been so impressed with him and with his products.
He is also great with communication and follow-through, keeping you updated as to delivery, etc.
In addition his installers are excellent.
John even helped with an older blind issue that was not even one that I had purchased from him! He truly goes above and beyond - and he is also very involved in the community - which is how I first met him.

We got a call back that the blinds were ready in about 2 weeks and they were installed right after that.
