Other than a little bit of a high price for range time (unless you're planning on using the pistol bay for more than an hour but who can afford that with anything other than .22?), this is a nice range. I found the pistol bay to be clean and well lit and more than adequately ventilated.
Once I finished punching holes in paper at high velocity, I did a quick browse of the supplies in the store. Good selection of cleaning stuff, optional attachments and of course, lots of pistols and rifles for sale. Maybe not as many as my own shop, but still a decent number. Prices seemed to be pretty decent.
I'd go back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - George L.Berryessa, San Jose, CA20263Sep 9, 2023
This place is great, I'm assuming the people who didn't give it 5 stars probably lacked experience with firearms.
The staff is great, the owner is awesome and it's overall just a comfortable environment. If you need help with anything just ask.
REMEMBER TO ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FIRING ARMS AIMED DOWN RANGE... even if it's unloaded or you're not firing.
Great place for zeroing at 25.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sam S.Milwaukee, WI01Jan 9, 2024

Most of the people Mike hires are extremely rude! Not friendly. Don't ask if you need help. And prices are higher thqn MSRP.

Not another tacticool gun shop run by armchair operators. The owner Mike as well as Roy & Freddy are combat vets with real world knowledge & experience to guide you whether it's on the range with shooting tips, or selecting the weapons platform that best suites your needs- not to mention they're one of the biggest Microtech knife dealers in the area with extensive product knowledge to back it up. The manager Brian is a standup guy who genuinely cares about helping the customers and ensuring a satisfactory shooting/shopping experience from beginning to end, leads from the front & sets the tone that the rest of the team follow to the letter. Would highly recommend BCSS to anyone on either end of the spectrum, whether a first time gun buyer or 3 gun comp shooter there's a ton of knowledge to be gained from stopping into the shop for your next purchase or range day.

Great staff; friendly. Reasonable prices; the range is clean, they have offers throughout the week for the range, so if you are hesitant to go alone, Tuesday would be a good a good time to go with a partner or a friend.

The staff is always very helpful, prices are reasonable and the staff is very knowledgeable. They have come a long way from the "Badger" days!

Forget their history. I've seen them shut down straw attempts in person. Recently !
You've got to be a special kind of stupid to case the place a couple of times then come back with your "sister" or "girl friend" for "her" to buy a gun.
LOL
They stomped on that quick AF .
Other than that I didn't take my classes from them but I appreciate their membership discounts and professionalism. Not too expensive to receive FFL transfers, and if your not a weirdo they are generally salt of the earth good guys. Can't speak to their smithing work but I would pay them for a shooting class easily. Theres always some odd quirk you have that affects your shot placement and they are all pros here. Ooo Lookie at that 9/24 review from Morgan that aint cool at allHelpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Makanaky E.Lower East Side, Milwaukee, WI01Apr 4, 2022
Very unprofessional disrespectful employees won't let you look at all the guns on the wall because they are lazy, how would I know what I want to buy if I can't hold the guns , I asked to look at a gun and this guy stated "it's an expensive gun so he is not going to let me finger f**k all the guns , if I'm not going to purchase it "his words ,go somewhere else folks

This review is based on shooting range only. I didn't shop here because I Bought my gun, bullets, targets, and gun safe at Gander. Also bought my ear protection, glasses, and gun range bag at Walmart. This was my first time at a range and wanted to be prepared before going.
Getting range time was quick and easy. Signed a waiver, checked my ID, checked my bullets, saw I was wearing ear and eye protection, paid $20 for a hour and was given a range number and start time. On my way to shoot. Mon-Thurs $20 for unlimited time but Fri-Sun it is $20 per hour. I found this place here on help and visited the website I liked that you could become a member for $25 and get discounts in store and $5 the range. If I go 5 times it pays off that $25 member fee. Seven better if you renewel any other year it's only $10 for membership. Pay that back with 2 visits
So for first time at the range was fun. Learned how to aim, got some nice headshots in. Booths looked nice.
I will defiantly be back many more days to practice my shooting at the range.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kelly O.Milwaukee, WI02Jan 30, 2022
Its not a rifle range. Only hand guns. I dont knw why it comes up on rifle range sesrches. I went there and asked and was told "only if you purchase special ammunition" - rubber bullets.
