Really good food and a great drink selection. I love the paintings and brewery. Good service and fun family and bar area.

I never leave reviews and it was so good, I have to say how exceptional the staff and food were for us.
My son and I had the most amazing experience here.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting. Our waiter, Roger, made the experience fun and lighthearted the whole time.
The Root beer bbq wings and the blackberry margarita are definitely new favorites. If you do nothing else, try the blackberry margarita.

I'd love to review the food here but the host was such a colossal dolt, never got to experience the food or ambiance because the rude ass basically told our family to not bother, they were closing in an hour and would not be sitting new guests. Lubbock restaurants, get a clue, after a Tech football game, fans are hungry and thirsty, Jones AT&T Stadium provides limited options. But Lubbock restaurants never fail at being inept at planning for the masses.

We ordered two Fresh tomato and mozzarella salad. Usually this comes with round balls of mozzarella and tomato slices but today they had maybe 4 tomato's and no mozzarella cheese balls. There was VERY little arugula as well. For 6$ each this was a waste of money.

The wait time has been consistently awful. About an hour and a half to receive the food in my most recent visits. Most of the food was served cold, so quality does not make it worth the wait. BJ's is a decent chain restaurant, but this is not their best location.
Our server today was great on the other hand! He was charismatic and efficient, so I'm assuming it's a kitchen or low staff dilemma. Restaurant itself appeared clean!

We arrived, we had made a reservation at five, we arrived a few minutes early, it took them a few minutes to get a seated because of the high chairs and the sling. We waited about 10 minutes or so and no one came or offered us service. The manager seem to spend quite a bit of time at the next table over visiting with those people and did not even offer to come over and asked to see if we have been helped I ended up going up to the hostess station and asking who our waiter or waitress was, and they apologized and said oops they would get them. Finally, a server came over and asked if we had been served. After that, the manager did drop by our table and welcomed us, but he sure did not hang around And visit with us the table next to us. My wife ordered chicken Alfredo, I had a guacamole, bacon burger, and the kids had the kids meals. My fries were very very salty, more salt and McDonald's put on theirs. The kids meals seem to be OK, I could've got a better burger for a better deal at the neighboring restaurants, it was tasty, but it wasn't the best. My wife, however she said it was very tasty and she was very much enjoying it. She said it was one of the best ones she had and then she wound up finding a hair in the midst of the noodles. It took me a minute to find it. She had to pointed out to me. It was a small black hair, and no one of us have that kind of hair. Of course, no server was to be found around us so I had to waive the manager down, he did apologize and said that was very unacceptable. He offered to have my wife's meal remade, and she refused, saying that she basically lost her appetite even though it was really good. They did remove that meal from our order. Overall, I was not satisfied with this experience, the service, especially and then the food, unfortunately.

Got a pizookie to go, got home, and it looked like this... I thought leaving a good tip meant you would get taken care of. Guy at the Togo window was really nice and I would've given him some if he had asked

Dec 6, 2023Previous reviewMy Roomate and I wanted to experience pizookie night after our server told us about it our last time eating here so we walked in and we're faced with an extremely rude server yelling at us to seat ourselves with two other table in the entire restaurant. We sat ourselves in the bar and the bartender proceeded to ignore us until the manager forced him to help us which he did with an attitude. They have good food so it is sad that the experience was so shitty.

For my first time, I was very disappointed. I went and my friends and I wanted the Mac n cheese balls, but they were out. We ordered a different appetizer and were completely fine with it. When it came to the entree I wanted the Prime rib weekend special, and it was out as well. I would've understood if it was late at night but it was 7 in the evening. I ordered the ribeye and it was mostly fat, and medium well instead of medium rare. The service was average, our server was busy so I don't put much on that. However we waited quite a bit between refills. I would love to give the restaurant another chance in the future, but I was upset about getting a ribeye for $32 and having about 2-3 oz of fat on there.

Had lunch here yesterday and planned to watch an out of area NFL game knowing that this location has Sunday ticket (access to all games). When we asked if they could put our game on a tv nobody was watching the manager said no. He explained that too many people keep asking him to change a channel and he doesn't have time. I thought it was nice of him to come over and tell us he would not do it but his explanation didn't make sense. The restaurant was not busy and appeared to be well staffed. We planned this lunch with the intention of watching a specific game and ended up very disappointed.
