Are you still operating takeaway only? Thank you :)

      A:

Take out only. I drove there hungry and wanted a sit down meal. I left.

Are the gluten free versions' chicken battered in regular flour? Is just the biscuit gluten free but not the chicken?

      A:

Right, the fried chicken is not gluten free.

Simply delicious! Chicken is always tender and juicy. Biscuit holds together while still being flaky and moist.

Bird bird Biscuit is really nice. It's hard not to draw comparisons to the other biscuit shop in Austin, but I think they both are great in their own right.

Bird Birds biscuits are lighter fluffier and soft. I got the lovely day and substituted veggie sausage instead of meat. The pesto was a nice touch and the cheese and the egg were so gooey and delicious. I also ordered an unsweetened apricot tea which was very good and a plain biscuit with butter and jam for my husband. Overall a solid place and we will definitely be back!

The service and efficiency of the place is amazing. They pump out these sandwiches like a factory.

By far the best biscuits I have ever had and one of if not the best breakfast sandwich I ever had. We also ordered a side of dill pickle aioli which complimented the sandwiches and fries so well. Worth the hype!

I suggested this place to my fiancé promising a chicken biscuit for breakfast only to find out there isn't technically a breakfast chicken biscuit. Either way he got a chicken biscuit and I got a bacon egg and cheese thing.

Oh man, was this the best biscuit we ever ate? Oh absolutely. Per the words of my dear fiancé "I woke up thinking about that biscuit, I don't think I've had a biscuit that good"

Some things to note. The iced coffee was surprisingly good but I wish I was deranged enough to go somewhere else for a drink. They charge $4 for a cup of orange juice (not worth it)

Be mindful of the line you're in, if you didn't order ahead be sure you're in the line for the ONE ordering screen. Once you're texted, then and only then could you stand in the pick up line.

Seating was nice and chill considering it was a quiet morning but I don't even want to think about what the place looks like when it's full.

Bird Bird Biscuit was our first breakfast in Austin and WOW! I ordered the lovely day and it was amazing! My husband ordered the special with pimento cheese and he loved it. We also got a biscuit on the side with jam and I wanted a second stomach so I could eat more. The biscuit is perfection. The flavor of both sandwiches were ridiculous! This is a must try!

Ummm look how beautiful this sandwich is!! I came here with a friend today for the first time not know what to expect and I was thoroughly pleased with the food here. You put in your order on a kiosk and it probably took 15 min for our food to be ready so I suggest ordering online 10 min before coming. There is very limited seating at this location and the whole time I was eating my poor friend was being pestered by bees and flies. Overall I enjoyed this place, I think it's a bit expensive but the food was great.

Biscuits are fantastic. Fluffy and buttery with a crunchy exterior. We had the Carolina with pimiento cheese and pickles. It was good! They were out of blueberry jam, which was a bummer. The fans were constantly blowing our napkins into the gym next door. And then you have to walk all the way around to retrieve them. They could install a small wire retainer on the edges of the bar seating to stop this.

I returned to Bird Bird Biscuit a year later to give it another shot, and it was phenomenal. Brian was so gracious as to allow me to try the Queen Beak again. It was delicious and did not have any of the dryness I experienced last time. I was also able to try a dessert consisting of a biscuit covered in a cream/pudding with jam on top. I had never had a biscuit dessert before, and I was blown away by it.

Bird bird is becoming an Austin fave with standard long lines. Do yourself a favor and order ahead and expect a 30 minute cook time. Is the wait worth it? You bet! Here's what I had:

Queen beak- This is what everyone comes for, add and egg and enjoy! The spiced black pepper honey sauce, bacon-infused chipotle mayo sets this sandwich off! 5 of 5 stars!

Biscuit and Gravy- the biscuit is the best part. The gravy is good too!

You will walk away full, trust me.

Simple biscuit and gravy. Good stuff!

My favorite chicken biscuit sandwich place & it's not even close. I've had it 4 times now and the consistency is what impresses me the most.

I usually get the Queen Beak, and it is just so good. The sweetness from the honey and the savory and slight kick from the chipotle mayo together combined with a buttery biscuit is honestly divine. 10/10!

I would recommend ordering online, so you don't have to wait in the line. Limited outdoor seating (it's takeout style with no indoor seating) and parking.
