Very good service and food was excellent as well.

We sat outside because we had out dog with us. Very dog friendly.

Gator bites a must have appetizer.

I had the monte cristo sandwich. Not my absolute favorite. I would describe it as almost having funnel cake fried to outside. Some people may really like it.

I will be returning again to this excellent place.

Service was fine! Food was unbelievable. First, not sure what made it tropical besides one or two sort of related menu items. Maybe they have some good items, but we'll never know. My wife and I both ordered French Dip sandwiches. What we got was a hoggie roll with Steak-umms inside. I didn't even know they were still around! Sandwiches were terrible (cardboard beef), au jus had to be out of a jar and fries were tasteless. Should have gone down a couple more exits.

I would recommend eating here!
It's located in an odd spot, but it's a great place to eat. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I got the big fish and it was great! It came with fries and slaw and was only $11! The prices are very fair, and the food is good!

Always great service and diverse menu. This particular visit we had a group of thirty for Friday lunch. Kelly served us with help from the owner. Kelly is the hardest working, most efficient server in the Lynchburg area. Everyone was served with few delays. I had the steak wrap with the meat was cooked to perfection. I heard no negatives from any of my group. Menu prices are affordable. This is on par with all my other previous visits.

I truly can't understand the positive reviews of the food.

My go to if I'm really hungry is the Cajun pasta and if I want to be healthy I'll get the strawberry fields salad. Both are very good. I do not recommend getting seafood. Someone ordered the calamari and you could smell the stench throughout the whole restaurant.
They have a fairly large outdoor patio and lots of parking.
Staff here are nice and it is a huge local/regular spot.
Expect more of a red neck hangout than a tropical grill.

My husband and I went and joined a group. The food was great, Lillian was fantastic, but the room was hot and I almost tripped several times going to and from the bathroom because it has a slope.

3 stars for the food, it's a huge menu, so it'll have almost anything you are craving! 4 stars for the friendly bar tender and regulars. They are a hoot! I'll be back for sure.

Was visiting from out of state and thought a non chain restaurant would be neat. Our server was great!!!! Our food was cold and inedible. Ordered the roast beef au jus sandwich. It was a stiff dried out cold piece steak ummms. Also, ordered a pasta dish and it wasn't even room temperature it was COLD. Manager never came to apologize and no break on our check for the inconvenience.

Recently went by for appetizers and a drink when visiting for work. Gator tail was so tender and flavorful! Nice vibe at the bar too! Nice bartender.
