Beauty Cafe Hairsalon

My husband and I recently moved to the area and as usual, it is a scary thing to have to find a new place to get my hair done. I had my first appointment with Judy. She did an absolute fantastic job. I couldn't be happier! So very friendly! We had nice conversation and a I had a fantastic cappuccino while waiting for my hair to process. I have already scheduled my next appointment. Look no further, this is where you will want to go for great hair!

This salon is great! Is clean, stylist are awesome always staying on top of the trends. If you are looking for a place for a haircut, blow out or any hair treatment this is the place to come. Juanis and Judith are the best.

A year later and I am still happy with my choice to come to this salon! Everyone is welcoming and friendly! It's got a small-town, local feel with an international flair! I highly recommend this salon for anyone!

BACKSTORY: I have always been wanting a little edge / not norm to my look but every time I walked out of a salon, I looked the same regardless of my requests. It was safe so I stayed with the same hairdresser over the years.

It got to the point I just resigned myself to dye my own hair...then there was Covid, a catastrophic leg injury and working from home where, I could not give a shit how I looked... and *just like that* 2 years had gone by...

Recently, I had realized how much I had lost myself in all of the world's ridiculousness and knew I had to get back to me!

Why am I giving you this back story? Answer: So I can tell you about my experience at the Beauty Café hair salon!

I love the welcoming, accepting, eclectic, artistic vibe of Gulfport!

How did I find this gem? I read the outstanding reviews of the Beauty Café and decided I was going to try this salon and I could not be more happy I did!

My exceptional experience started with making the appointment. Their website is easy to navigate with great follow up.

As I arrived at the salon, the entrance was inviting with red velvet ropes guiding you through the doors. When I walked into the salon, I was immediately greeted and felt instantly comfortable.

The salon is tastefully decorated with bright colors, amazing light fixtures, fun wall decor, beautiful paintings and Redken products prominently displayed.

It only gets amazing from here... I meet Judie! She was so warm and inviting. I immediately felt at ease...Judie had an honest conversation with me about the look I was hoping for. She set realistic expectations. This is something I ever have experienced before.

She walked me through each step, making me comfortable with the transformation.

The end result was exactly what I hoped for! This is my favorite haircut I ever had!

On a side note, I literally felt an immediate kinship with Judie. She was so easy to talk to and, although it would be completely awkward for me to ask, she is the kind of person I would love to have drinks with.

I will never go anywhere else. THANK YOU Beauty Cafe!

I love what Juanis was able to do with my terrible color and lifeless hair. I felt so stylish and trendy after she was done and my hair has not felt this healthy in a long time!! I was so thankful she was able to get me in on short notice. Everyone I met there was so friendly and professional. I will be back for my upkeep! Love this place

Judie is the best!! She listened to me and made miracles happen on my do-it-yourself colored hair that was, frankly, a mess. My hair is long and Judie gave me a great layered cut that works no matter how I style. Her blowout SLAPS it lasted a week, which is a recorded for my frizzy hair in Florida. The salon is cozy and comfortable, and the surrounding area in Gulfport is charming! Great for a stroll. Make a day out if it!!! Can't wait to go back. Thank you Judie!!

I just got back from my first appointment with Juanis for a haircut and I couldn't be more pleased! I have a crazy head of hair that didn't intimidate her one bit. She took the time necessary to do everything that was required to give me the cut I'd requested and offered her own brilliance to make it better than I could have hoped. It's a lovely space and I can say with all assurance that I've found my new hair salon home!!
