This is a small baskin robin on San Mateo Blvd. the drive through is very narrow and us usually waiting time is higher than going inside.:9 much selections and different flavors of ice creams. They have non dairy options and sugar free ice cream. The staff is respectful and for part friendly. Most of the staff are young employees that still need to learn that customer
Service is vital for the business.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - 89277166Jun 30, 2021
I ordered my dad a cake for Father's Day and was really happy with the way the cake turned out. It was delicious and decorated really nicely.
On a customer service note, when I walked in to pick up my order I didn't see anyone standing around. I craned my neck to try and see behind the counter and out pops a young lady. No greeting, she just stands there and stares at me. So I tell her what I need and she quietly walks off, again without saying anything. Another guy was playing video games or listening to the radio or something over in the corner and didn't even bother to acknowledge me. With that said, he did help another customer that came in after me but their customer service really needs some help. It would appear that there is no training on how to greet customers when they walk in the door. If they were trained then they weren't using it.
If you need an ice cream cake Baskin Robbins is always the place to go but just be prepared to have poor customer service unless the manager or owner of this particular location decides to do something about it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Idalis H.North Central, San Antonio, TX21714Feb 17, 2022
Kids didn't know what they were doing. We asked and paid for 2 TWO SCOOP Sundays and messed it up. We even asked before leaving if this looked right. Smh I got scammed out of a whole scoop of ice cream

Pulled up only to see lobby was closed on a monday evening....
Went to drive thru sign reads to pull to place order... we were looking at the items when we are told pull forwars..
The young man with glasses had the worse attitude... as if we were a bother to him...
Placed our order. Inadvertently gave the wrong card for payment to which we were then scolded by this prepubescent child on the card not working... we explained it was the wrong card again to his dismay it was more time away from his phone that we were taking up.
Plain and simple.. teen angst should be left at home... train your employees to have better manners and provide customer service
We left. Wont be going back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alicia L.Albuquerque, NM108669Apr 25, 2017
Best one in town plus they have a drive thru woo hoo! Makes it so much more convenient.
I have been coming here for years!
This location makes the best cappuccino blast. For some reason, the other locations don't taste the same or nearly as good. The manager here is great! I drive clear across town to come here.
You can also try it with other flavors such as the seasonal flavors like peppermint or pumpkin.
The original cappuccino blast is my favorite with the turtle blast being second. I also love the oreo cookies and cream cappuccino, and mint chocolate chip cappuccino.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 27, 2018
I came today for the grand re-opening ceremony (found out about it through Yelp). The shop itself is kind of difficult to turn into and I forgot to take into account the traffic at the time (thought I would make it back in time for work, but I guess not). They even had Cone-y the mascot out. The drive through line was extremely slow (I was only the 3rd car and ended up waiting and waiting and waiting). There needs to be a better system, instead of ordering through just the one window. I turned around, parked, and walked inside instead. Again, lines slower than molasses. I got my trick or treat Oreo, which was a dinky little scoop for $1.50 (the special of the day). A terrible idea for all that work. The ice cream was fine though, pictures forthcoming

Drive through was slammed but no one inside so went inside. My order was made with no hand protection at all and the $7+ item was made with about 1/2 the amounts that should have been used.

Went for ice cones tonight and the employees were doing a great job! Working hard and very friendly. They gave us a tiny puppy amount for my pups which was very kind. Very pleased customer, thank you.

They only have a drive up and they are requiring you to wear a mask In your own car or they won't serve you. They were rude on top of that. Definitely Not giving them my business.
