A bit of a preface: I almost didn't want to come here to purchase my grill because of some of the negative reviews on the customer service. After calling around to various barbeque stores, this location happened to be the only one with my grill in stock. I'm glad they were, and I'm absolutely glad I came here!
When we first walked in the door, we were promptly greeted by Tom, the store manager. I told him that I was looking for a GMG Daniel Boone WiFi and that I was told that they had a few in stock. To my surprise, it was Tom that had spoken to me that morning and remembered talking to me earlier that day. Tom was very informative and awesome at giving me his presentation of the grill, even though I had already done extensive research about it leading up to my purchase.
When I told him I was going home with the grill, he asked me if I needed any pellets or other accessories to go with the grill. Again, he had another very informative presentation over the various pellet types they carried. I inquired about some accessories and he didn't hesitate to go to the back to get them and let me see what it'd look like on the floor sample. I even asked if he had any tips for smoking my first Thanksgiving turkey and Tom provided a ton of great info that resulted in an awesome, juicy turkey!
Tom quickly got all my info in their system, got me checked out, and helped me load the grill in the back of my truck. I'll admit I was going in already expecting sub-par service and am glad I received quite the opposite.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Talked to the manager Edwin. Showed him my old bbq model number and he sold me a $5,700 replacement and said installation should not be a problem. I took his recommendation on installers. They showed up 3 hours early so I was not there. The installers said they needed me to purchase an extra part and I said no problem. Then said they still could not do it, but did not hook back up the old bbq.
Given the circumstances, I thought I was pretty nice about it, but when I asked for a refund Edwin's attitude changed a lot. He finally did get me the money back, but took forever and only after a couple of condescending lectures on what business day means. I worked in retail all my life and understand refunds are as instant as sales - if you want them to be.
So I went to another bbq store and they were great. They also told me that the model I had purchased from Edwin had a $1000 rebate. and their installers will have no problem. Thank you for your feedback. I understand you have wood in your outdoor kitchen. Due to liability issues, our installers will not install a grill in a combustible outdoor kitchen. My husband and I have bought a Webber grill, BGE, and an umbrella here. The guys are super nice and remember us every time we come in and ask how our grills are doing. Very helpful we have used our BGE every week. Def worth every cent!

I phoned this location on Monday this week to find out if they service and clean gas grills. They didn't bother returning my call. I guess I understand now why you only have a 3 star average rating. I'll remember not to step in your store when I'm ready for a new grill.

I purchased a Broil King grill back in early September and was told it would be 2-3 weeks for delivery, cool. Now it's going on 6 weeks and still no grill. No status so I called the representative for
the second time and again, not sure will get back with me and asked "IF I STILL WANT IT", WTF is that? Wrong, I cancelled the order and ordered the same grill from Lowes, will be here next week. I purchased an outdoor gas heater from them 2years ago. I originally had some operating issues and they directed me to the manufacturer to work it out. As it was a new product line, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called the manufacturer myself. I also had to find my own installer at the time.
I am currently having issues with the same heater and their default response is give out the manufacturers number and deal with it yourself. I'm not overly thrilled with their service side of the business and lack of local technical support. We're sorry Ron that your experience with our service side was less than satisfactory. We do our best to become as knowledgeable in our products, but sometimes we get a new product (due to customer demand) and technical support training is not available to our sales associates.
We do offer our corporate customer service number that may be more familiar with in the technical support aspect and in some cases, the best way to support our customers is to help direct them to someone that can help, such as the manufacturer, instead of the customer feeling lost and in need.

WOW. HORRIBLE CUST SERVICE.
I bought over $150 worth of "accessories" for my Kamado grill last week. The attendant last week was super nice - super helpful. Today had to return a couple items that were under performing for my needs. From the moment I walked in - both Store Director (Tom Dose) & worker (Victor) barely mustered up a hello when they saw me walking in with a return. Charcoal fire starters & a LED grill light. After 1 use with the fire starters (that were crummy) I brought back the product. I was told I could not return one of the 2 boxes I purchased because one was open. HELLO......... that's why I'm returning it - IT DIDN'T WORK!! Out of spite Tom waved his hand and hatefully said - just go ahead & take them back. I told him NO - didn't want them to go out of their way to back their products. When I told Victor that the LED light barely put out any light for the grill he simply told me he had never had a complaint.
I repurchased the Green Egg starters that I originally bought from another store. You would have thought I brought back a year old grill that was worth $2,000 the way I was treated today. RUDE doest not get you return customers & unfortunately for Tom - I'm in the market to build a new outdoor kitchen area in the next few months (have about 10k budgeted for the project) & I will NOT be doing it with a BBQ Galore store.

Called to talk with them about grills and the salesman who answered the phone was so short and rude with me. We wont be shopping here if they can't even take a few minutes to talk on the phone. Customer service should be a top priority and here it doesn't seem like it is.

This place is great! They did a giveaway for a free grill today! And 105.3 The Fan was there, doing their live show. Ben and Skin were hilarious as always. We bought lots of new seasonings and BBQ sauces and met the owner of the store. He's a very nice guy, and when we buy our next grill, it will definitely be from this place. I was very impressed with the atmosphere, friendliness of the staff and the store layout. It was very nice!
