Long line, slow process, repair man blocking the door, only 1 working atm outside and 1 inside. There were only 2 tellers working at 1230 rush hour on a monday. Took a while to get to front but when I did the teller was very helpful, friendly and professional. The branch manager asked customers in line if he could help with anything and was nice enough to get me a water bottle when I asked if they had any water on this hot hot day.
Overall friendly service but poor time management/flow.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Connie H.Great Falls, VA02Jul 12, 2023
People working here seems all tired, taking so long to just get a account closed and get a check.

Easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a bank, came here the day I lost my debit card to try to get out some cash and instead of letting me get it through a teller, the manager forced me to create a temporary debit card to try to get it though the ATM. The ATM proceeded to refuse my debit card that night and the bank closed without me being able to get my funds. Today, I went to the same branch on my way to work and tried the debit card again (thinking maybe it needed time to authorize when I created it), the ATM still wouldn't accept the digital card and I didn't bring my photo ID because the manager the other day had assured me I wouldn't needed. I've been a member of Bank of America for 7 years and I've never had a branch waste this much of my time without giving me anything I need.

Possibly the worst customer service experience I have had. They do not provide all the services indicated online and when asked about those services, the teller all but outright called me an idiot. I saw low reviews at this location and thought, "it's a chain bank, how bad could it be?" I had immediate regret for that thought after speaking with the teller. She was condescending and rude. Unless you are looking for confrontation and mistreatment, I'd advise you to stay away from location.

Another clean branch of BoA minus the construction going on at the Herndon branch. Went here to make another transaction and get some cash - quick, prompt, and friendly service. Although the guy greeting a customer in Arabic was a tad disturbing (normally Muslims don't agree with the idea of usury that our bank system is accused of in those circles), I guess for the customer it probably was a nice touch.
I was in and out and glad to find this branch - it's a little closer to home than the Herndon one is.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Enigmajic O.Rockville, MD152123262Apr 15, 2009

The Good:
Mortgage broker being available during a Saturday non-business day to be readily available for a couple shopping for a pre-approved mortgage (tough times call for .
The Bad:
Pulling sales tricks to lure a couple to a mortgage rate that was not as competitive as other brokers' offers
The Ugly:
Constantly phone harassing the couple in an attempt to seal the deal and irritating the hell out of them.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Alfred B.Arlington, VA1559612Aug 3, 2011
In terms of location, it is definitely one of the older branches. One of the bank tellers told me that they have been using older procedures because the overall system is older. For example, in order to check into your safety deposit box, they just pull out your name from a box of cards - whereas in other branches they would have everything computerized. Of course, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
This doesn't get in the way of security or privacy issues, I just thought it was amusing. Overall, it's a clean branch and people who are always willing to help. Never had any issues or felt any pressure from them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Victoria N.Chantilly, VA463395529Aug 18, 2016
Definitely needs more than just 2 staff members working the counter during afternoon rush. Was in a line with more than 10 people.

Nice decor, horrible service. Always a very long line and one teller. Find a different bank.
