Banana Belt Discount Liquor

A great liquor store with rare whiskeys every once in a while at great prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Have bought Blantons, Sazerac, and other nice stuff there from time to time. Make sure and sign up for the card and you will get money back!

Rude obnoxious staff. On May 4, 2024 @ approx 6 pm I attempted to park my SUV with small utility trailer in the back of the BIG empty parking lot where no cars were parked for a few minutes at the slowest part of the day just to order from the food truck that was located in their parking lot and perhaps go in for a beverage from inside the liqueur store but never got a chance before the owner/employee came out of the store and rudely screamed at me across the parking lot claiming "you can't park there, you're blocking my parking spaces, I'll have you towed!!!" he said. Which I was not! I was literally in the middle of the parking lot in-line to the food truck in the back of the lot and not blocking anyone anymore than the food truck itself. The screaming and rude hand gestures were completely uncalled for and the situation should have been handled in a more professional respectful manner, not screaming like a maniac. I will NEVER do business with rude nasty people like this and will steer all my friends and family and anyone who asked where to buy liqueur in Woodland Park away from doing business with these rude nasty people. I took my business elsewhere.

Great variety, great prices, and the employees always greet you when you enter. If you buy a lot before a holiday gathering they always have boxes to help you consolidate your purchases, and even offer to help you carry things out.

Banana Belt continues to impress.

If you're driving through, the place looks fairly small on the outside. But walk in and you'll be surprised. This store is packed to the gills! Rows upon rows of wine. A great liquor selection with beer cases in the back.

The staff is sweet and helpful -- we were buying a couple cases of wine all together. What lushes!

They reinstated their discount card. So everything you purchase you earn points on that can be used to save money on future purchases.

Banana Belt almost always has our go-tos in stock, and the cashiers are always helpful and nice. We started coming here more when the Goldhill Liquor store stopped holding as much stock.

The new sign out front is so bright I dread having to drive home at night. No regard for the community you're in. I've heard complaints from many people in WP since it went in. I would be happy to update my review if the blinding sign was dimmed at night.

Blinding new sign on the road makes it literally a pain and hazard to drive. Such awful advertising in a small town = l'll never shop there. So disrespectful to this town so they can make a buck. Rude and inappropriate.

Love this place!! Great selection and knowledgeable staff, the Banana card that allows you to earn points and redeem savings is great.
