Beautiful facility, lots of places to sit and work, plenty of computers. I have a freeport card and prefer to come here because it's just brighter and nice and the parking is free.
Older man with short hair and glasses at the circulation desk was a blob of a human. I said Hi, and two thank yous and he never uttered a word. Sweet as pie to my husband though. Weird.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Genesis O.San Francisco, CA01Apr 6, 2023
It's really great you can find children books and you can work there. It is really just amazing.

Ok ok, I know I'm reviewing a library, but I have a reason! This place has so many little study cubes where you can tune out the world and get writing or researching without your tv calling your name (yes, thats a real problem).
In addition, I try to be as thrifty as possible, because #gradstudentlife but the library has a great selection of CD's, books on tape, DVDs, and even video games. They have Xbox one and PlayStation games to choose from..I took a picture of the selection so far.
Also, nearby in the same lot, there's a pizza place and coffee shop (sweet and savory cafe), so it's a good place to study and take a break without leaving the lot.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Reviewer R.Long Island, NY015Dec 30, 2019
Nice library. Also, I love the fact that the computer section for adults is in a room and away from the children's section.

Baldwin library is a great library, maybe one of my favorites. They got a few clubs and services that they offer which makes it a great place to stop in for a variety of needs.
The one thing I don't like is the folks that check out your books/cds/dvds/etc. The circulation desk is steller, those folks are helpful and informed. The regular front desk though, they're cranky and phone it in most of the time. It's even worse if you're young. They'll look at you as though you ran over their dog.
Note: I have never ran over any animals. Except for that squirrel, but that wasn't on purpose, it just ran across the street.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Noushky F.Rosedale, NY266145621May 18, 2015
Perfect place to study in early weekdays.
There is nothing much I can say about the library.
It was quiet, I heard people breathing and the chairs were comfortable.
Will I go here again?: Yeah, why not it was a silent experience.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 2012First to Review
This library was actually responsible for the start of my library career. When I was a kid, later on a teenager I came here all the time. I loved the librarians and the selection of books. This library will have fond memories for me always.

The workers here have absolutely no regard for the their patrons. The continually have openly loud conversations. Don't they know that people are trying to study? Don't they care that its actually a library and should be quiet?? truly breathtaking
