Avner Gat

One evening our water heat burst and leaked in our laundry room + media room. We've heard good things about this company in the past so we decided to contact them. They sent an adjuster named Gary to our house that same night to start the drying process. Gary was amazing to work with and he made the whole process so quick and seamless with the insurance company. Avner Gat, Inc. was so reliable and you can tell they truly care about their customers. Because of Gary, we finished our complaint through our insurance company in under 3 months and he gave us special attention every step of the way.

After a water mishap that left two rental properties badly damaged, my sisters and I were in dire need of help. After weeks of waiting for any response from our insurance company, we knew we needed an advocate. We had never submitted a claim and were shocked at how we were treated by this well-known insurance company. We found Avner Gat's company on Yelp and decided we had nothing to lose by calling.

Robair came and met with us and did a walk through of the property. He took his time to explain to us how the company works to help us get what we needed to get our rentals up and running. Our whole process took us well over a year because of insurance adjusters being switched and no communication. Robair knows the legal aspects that insurance companies must follow and was able to be on top of them. Throughout this whole process, Robair was in constant communication with us. Without him, we would have thrown our hands up in the air and just settled with the insurance agency and taken a huge loss. We are so thankful we called Avner Gat and met Robair. We're actually going to miss him!

So, I begin my story with a flooded upper level of my home due to wind and rain. After a couple of months fighting with State Farm and 5 (yes 5) of their inept adjusters, it was taking a toll on my husband's and my health.
We were told about Avnet Gat,Inc. and one of their public adjusters, Gary. Soon after Gary got involved things started getting done. Gary was very concerned about us and our situation and was always there to answer any questions.
If you or anyone you know have claims with insurance companies, save yourself a lot of aggravation and stress and look into getting a public adjuster!

I called Avner Gat after I had a leak in my kitchen. At first I thought it's no big deal and just dried everywhere. But a few days later my walls cracked and my hardwood floor was wavy.
As soon as I called, they arranged for a company to come quickly and demolish the wet areas and put huge fans to dry it all. At that point I knew I needed help with the claim against my insurance as I had no experience with this and no time and patience. Doug Meister was assigned my case. Doug was responsive, understanding and on top of everything. Very professional. He was able to refer us to all the contractors we needed and even to a lawyer.
After a year of negotiations we finally settled with the insurance company. I hope I never have to deal with this again but if I will, would definitely recommend using Avner Gat as your public adjuster and not to try and deal with it yourself!

Like so many on here, we too suffered a flood in our home May of 2023. The first month was unimaginable as we navigated our insurance claim solo. While googling how to obtain support in situations like this, I came across an article written by Avner Gat where he included a phone number for a free claim review. Never in a million years did I think that actual number was his personal cell phone lol. He cares yall, he cares very much about people who are swindled and taken advantage of by insurance companies. He was helpful off the bat and noted that even if his team could not help, I was welcome to contact him with questions regarding how things were unfolding on my claim.

Eventually as things took a turn for the worse, Avner assigned Trisha Kendrick's to our case-and SO glad he did!

Trisha went above and beyond for us. Her kind demeanor and poise was well received by all the various adjusters assigned to our case. Learned a lot from her navigating this process. I had plenty of breakdowns in the process lol (sorry Trisha) but she was all the more reassuring. She was truly a gem & really professional through it all. All her reassurances paid off because it all worked out!

Avner Gat was recommended highly through close friends. I spoke with him directly to get advise with my unexpected homeowners issue and received a rude and unhelpful attitude instead, kind of a jerk! Maybe he was having a bad day and expected much more from this so called professional. I would not recommend him.

I'd like to ditto what my wife said in her review (Shabina) and just add that I am a Marine Corps Veteran, and if you are also a Veteran this place is for you. Veteran friendly. Nadav and Trisha are definitely good souls with a penchant for helping others. I'd also like to add that the supposed good neighbor that is supposed to be there insurance company that put us through this nightmare is not for Veterans, families, or humanity. Semper Fi.

When we had major water damage in our home due to wind driven rain, I was not prepared for the red tape that was involved with getting reimbursed from the insurance company for our losses. After submitting our claim and realizing that insurance only wanted to pay us a small fraction of the amount we needed to repair the damage a contractor we knew referred us to Avner Gat. I had no idea that these companies existed and more importantly how effective they can be. We were assigned to Gary Weinzimer who immediately put us at ease and thoroughly explained the whole process. He was so detail oriented and knowledgeable about the situation. Immediately Gary developed a plan and he got people in to get started taking care of the problem. This was very important to me because I suffer from Chronic Inflammatory Response Disorder which can be triggered by water damaged buildings. Gary was AMAZING throughout the entire process, which was a very tedious one for him. We went through 11 adjusters to get the claim paid and taken care of. He was so patient but also firm in what he needed and expected from our insurance company. He met the insurance company at our home multiple times and was so organized with all the paperwork needed to resolve our water damage. There were so many different layers which even included securing a rental house for us during the remediation that Gary facilitated. We are so excited to have just finished our remediation and be back in our home! We are so grateful to Gary and Avner Gat for taking the overwelm out of this devastating situation and for allowing us a happy ending in our home! We could not have done it without you GARY!!
