Ava Nails

Went there to get a Full Set French Gel, however what I received was an acrylic full set. I even asked ahead of time if they did the gel full set and they said yes. Anyways, the nail tech applied the tips, but he clipped my natural nail down which I have never had happen. Then he hurt me three times with the drill. He applied acrylic, not gel which pissed me off. Then I felt like he was being unnecessarily rough when he was sanding the acrylic down. My fingers still hurts. My nails look beautifully, but it's not what I asked for. I would like to get what I asked for, rather than what they can do. And that fact that they're still using drills is ridiculous. I won't be going there again. My fingers still hurt and are very tender. DON'T GO THERE!!! If the pain doesn't go away soon, I will make a big fuss to the manager. The total cost was $35.

I have been coming to get gel manicures with Pam for months and I love her!! I do not need all the bells and whistles. Just want a good, affordable, reliable place to get a gel manicure. This place is great!

Pam does such a great job and easy to talk to. Gel manicures a good price (a few dollars less than most) and they last awhile. I highly recommend this place!

The deluxe pedicure is absolutely worth the $10 up charge from the classic pedi. I got to pick my scent- I picked lavender (and coincidentally a lavender polish for spring) it comes with 5 individually wrapped unique lotions and heat activated upon application. Oh and this pedi includes the Valois removal so regardless I would end up spending close to $40 with the classic plus the callous up charge!

Just had a great manicure with Pam for the first time. Very happy. She did a beautiful job, and she has a great personality. I will definitely be going back.

A GREAT experience! Called ahead for an appointment for 8 people and they accommodated us to perfection. They do have stringent Covid procedures but I actually didn't mind it.

I did not like the way my hand nails turned out.
I would let the young man who did my nails know what I didn't like or what looked like he needed to fix.
Every time he would attempt to fix mistakes he would try to pile nail polish but it was hard for him to since the nail polish seemed so empty as well as the gel coat!!!
My hand nails look sloppy and dull. This was my first time here at Ava Nails.

I made a 10am appointment for a pedi. I just left the nail salon and it's now 11:40am. 1 hour and 40 minutes of dread because I'm so unhappy with my pedicure. I was so unhappy I wanted to walk out mid pedicure but I didn't want to make a scene.

Unbeknownst to me, I got the new guy. I overheard he is the brother of another nail tech. He is a super nice man and I feel bad leaving this review because he is very kind but unfortunately he has no idea what he is doing and the owner of the salon shouldn't have him on the floor until then.

He did not cut my cuticles or scrub any dead skin off my heels. I reminded him he didn't cut my cuticles mid pedicure because my feet were not looking up to par with the white nail polish I had selected. He was cleaning the excess white polish off the sides of my toes with his nails which was not working on my big toe (and only causing the lines to be uneven). I tlhad to tell him that he needed to get a small brush with nail polish remover. He put my foot under the light because I had gel polish and tried to remove the excess polish he could not take off earlier with the brush I had advised him to use. Everyone knows that once you have your feet under that light, your polish isn't moving.
After all that was said and done, he proceeds to try and cut my cuticles at the very end. It was ass backwards.

He ended up charging me for a regular pedicure instead of a gel pedicure but I still paid $30 and left him a small tip because I felt bad for him. He needs training. I get my gel pedicures once a month. I'm not going to go spend an additional $45 when I'm already $30 out of pocket. I won't be coming back.

Been here twice for a pedicure! Like it a lot.

Smaller shop, but good selection of colors and styles. Very reasonable prices. I recommend Christine. Wish this was in a slightly better location.

i'm from miami, but i needed somewhere to do my nails i chose this salon and wow, i really liked the service and how polite the staff were. totally give it a 10/10.

I love Ava nails. My nails always come out great. They have no problem fixing any issues you have. Sonnie does my nails and Pam does my daughters nails. Angie is also great!
