Oscar R was so awesome helping me with my battery. I was in and out in ten minutes with a new battery that he changed for me. Excellent service!

Went in this afternoon with my husband. Three of your employees were up at the front, doing nothing. We were greeted, not so happily. (I get it if the store is slow, which it was, at least attempt to look productive....there is always something to do....). Also fake the welcome to your customers, even if it kills you.
So my husband asked where to find an item. Another one of the employees pointed to which direction. Wrong location. We looked around to find the proper aisle, and of course they were out of stock. As we left, the staff was still up there, standing and just shooting the breeze. It would have been nice for someone to make an effort and ask if we founded what we needed. As we left, the girl who greeted us in, sounded more lively when she told us goodbye.
We went to your other Chandler location, and service was out of this world! They went above and beyond.

I went into autozone today and had the best customer service experience by a young man named Leo. He was knowledge, friendly, professional, polite, fast, and really turned my day around with his overall excellent customer service. Thank you Leo!

Came into Autozone with a dead battery in my car. The young man refused to come out and take it out for a replacement, saying "it's blazing hot out there and it's just a courtesy." He told me there's some tools right there (pointing to a cart). They also refused to give me additional tools when the ones we had weren't the right fitting. I couldn't believe it. I've never been treated so horribly by staff at Auto Zone.

visited on February 25th @ 5pm there was a young male and an older female, I was the only client in store and either of them were willing to help or even greeted. When I was finally greeted by the the male he had a very attitude seemed as if he didn't want to be working. I asked for a headlight for my vehicle and before I could say anything else he right away said he could not help me instal. Terrible customer service.

My car battery has died on me a couple times since purchasing last year. I came to this location to take advantage of the free battery check, the employee seemed annoyed and had me wait for all customers to leave the store before assisting me (maybe 5 mins). We found I needed a new battery, I agreed to the ridiculous price of 230$ because he offered to install it. Then after paying he informs me he cannot assist me with installing because it isn't a quick access battery. I say ok, and then proceed to struggle for over an hour narrowing various tools while being offered no advice or help at all other than him being annoyed he had to find the right tool for me. I will not be coming back, and what an epic fail on the customer service end. Luckily, a customer stopped and helped me for 15 mins or else I would have been stuck for much longer. Save your money and go to Walmart auto center. Or save yourself the time and doing the work yourself and go up to tire masters down the road.

Went in for a battery and was sold the wrong one. Put it in my car to get back to auto zone. Was told because I installed it I couldn't return it. Very unhelpful and rude. Don't go to auto zone!!!!

Every time I go to this location and need help they are very accommodating. Last time my headlight was out looking for a bulb. The employee came out looked under the hood and said there was just a disconnected wire. I was good to go without replacing the bulb. Saved me money. Definitely my first go to when I need help.

Contacted this location regarding the warranty on the car battery I purchased from them. I spoke to Alex and was told that the warranty had expired and that I could purchase a new battery from them but I would have to take the battery to the Nissan dealership because they would need too put it in my car. I've always taken my car to AutoZone to replace my car battery and never once have I been told I would need to take it to the dealership to have them put it in for me. Any autozone employee that has helped me in the past has always put the battery in my car for me. I ended up going to a different AutoZone location then this one that I called, the one on Ray and McClintock, and when they pulled up my information they told me that my car battery was still under warranty and they would replace and change it out for free. I would not recommend this AutoZone location because they're untrustworthy.

Until last month, I had never had a bad experience at an AutoZone. That changed when I went to AutoZone with my friend who is of Polynesian-Indian descent.
We needed a battery replaced and had a warrantee for a free replacement. I stayed in the car because the battery was so dead we couldn't open the door again after it was locked (not even with the key). After about 15 minutes of waiting in line, they found his warrantee and asked him to wait until the line died down to help. I waited outside and observed filled parking spaces become empty and occupied again, multiple times. My friend waited for AN HOUR and 15 minutes.
After texting multiple times to my friend inside, I decided to go in. Within ONE MINUTE of me (a WHITE PERSON) entering the store, we had service and the battery was fetched.
The fact that i had quicker service than someone with dark skin shocked and appalled me. I told them I would be calling corporate, but that's when it got even worse. I've called around 5 times to ask them to look into this incident, and nothing happened. Each time, I was assured the regional manager would give me a call back, but never was.
The message made by this location and reinforced by their regional staff is clear: WHITE PEOPLE ARE A PRIORITY HERE AND PEOPLE OF COLOR ARE NOT.
As long as this racist, preferential treatment remains unacknowledged and unchanged, I will never set foot in any Arizona AutoZone again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
