Atelier Gigi

I found Gigi after researching custom jewelry makers and getting a great response from her. I have never gotten a custom piece made and she explained the process and made me really comfortable with her artistic vision.

The task: reset a stone I had to match a necklace.
The outcome: 10/5 stars!

Gigi is a true artist with thoughtful attention to detail and a collaborative design approach. We chose to do a bezel around the tanzanite with accenting gems to match the necklace. She chose to match the setting style to the necklace and .

Her sketches gave me a great idea of what to expect and made it super easy to pick my final design. The CAD images blew me away and the ring was EXACTLY as presented in sketches and CAD but also somehow better! Gigi was very friendly, worked through some supply chain issues (it is COVID) and kept me properly updated along the way. I wanted the ring by a certain date and she overcame all issues to deliver EARLY! I cannot say enough good things about the process and outcome.

I don't even know where to begin with Gigi :-). She is just STELLAR. Great to work with, awesome personality, clear, communicative, a true artist...

I came to her with a ring I needed to have reset (and transformed). I wanted to keep some of the integrity of the original piece while also breathing new life/my own personality into it. I had an idea of what I wanted but no clue of how it would be geometrically feasible. Gigi (somehow) figured it out and it is GORGEOUS. It was not an easy design and it involved very delicate stones. Her design and her Goldsmith's work were phenomenal.

We then turned the remaining jewels into a beautiful necklace. I want to do more projects with Gigi!

Gigi has been great! We've been working together rebranding my engagement ring for several months (excited to pick up my ring in an hour!) She was very good at digging deep to learn my preferences and been great at communicating updates and timelines.

Update: Got the ring back and it's everything I wanted and more!

We reached out to Gigi having no idea what the entire ring design process would look like. Even if you know or you think you know what you are looking for, I could not recommend Gigi more.

There are a few things which stood out for us:
1- Gigi takes the time to understand what's important to you (and the couple)
2- Gigi cares: Gigi won't push for anything you don't feel comfortable with. At the same time, Gigi has opinions and she won't be afraid to voice them for your own benefit.
3- Flexible: It's obvious since the beginning that Gigi is building a partnership with you. She will invest in the relationship and will be here to help.
4- Top quality: At the end of all of this, you care about the results and Gigi will deliver. Gigi will make sure the product is the absolute best it can be.

This is long to say, Gigi is truly awesome and I highly recommend working with her if you want top quality and you want to work with someone you can trust.

Working with Gigi has been an incredible experience. She designed three rings for me: my and my husband's wedding bands and my engagement ring. She worked with a very special request and make a brilliant final product: She took the stone from a family heirloom engagement ring and made that the stone for my engagement ring, and then took the platinum from that same engagement ring and incorporated it into my husband's wedding band. The final results were timeless yet creative, and of unbelievable quality. Additionally, working with her is a pleasant delight through and through. Thank you, Gigi! I will treasure these three rings for the rest of my life.

My fiance and I recently worked with Gigi to design a custom engagement ring with the diamond from a family heirloom. From the moment we met Gigi, we loved her creative energy and her ability to help us figure out the look and shape we wanted with the ring.

The process was really easy and transparent. We first had an initial consultation to meet and talk about ideas and the general direction. Once we decided to move forward, we paid a small deposit and she got to work sketching different variations of the ring concept. She then crafted a physical model to scale, and we decided on metal colors and carats. She also facilitated a before-and-after appraisal so that we could have proper documentation in order.

When we got the finished ring, it took my breath away. It was modern and striking while still have a timeless quality to it. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted--Gigi really brought it all to life. I couldn't be happier!

Gigi and her team are masterminds! My grandparents gifted my fiancé and me matching rings. The style was perfect for me, but wasn't what my fiancé had in mind. We really wanted to use them as our wedding rings, so I found Gigi through Yelp. We brought her the ring with a vague idea of what we wanted and the result was even better then we could have envisioned in our wildest dreams! Gigi was very communicative, keeping us informed every step of the way. On top of that she is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I attached some photos of the ring Gigi created (silver and rose gold) along with the band my grandparents originally gifted us (only rose gold). Thank you Gigi!

Finding the perfect engagement ring is a stressful process! Gigi made it a wonderful and enjoyable process.

I had very rough ideas of a few characteristics I wanted in the ring and Gigi took those ideas and translated them in to sketches. We collaborated on the sketches over several iterations to something we both loved. From there she had a CAD and a wax made before it was cast and made real!

During the process of designing the ring, we were not able to incorporate a medical-themed design for my fiancée who is a health professional. Being in the medical profession, there will be times when she cannot wear her ring on her hand so we had played with the idea of making a necklace holder to hold the ring for those occasions. Gigi reached out to me with a great idea to incorporate this theme into the necklace instead and created a wonderful stethoscope pendant ring holder!

In every meeting with Gigi, she is energetic and filled with passion for her work. She has created some quality, amazing and unique jewelry that we're very proud of and that my fiancée loves. Gigi is very responsive, easy to work with, transparent about her pricing and I would highly recommend Gigi to anyone looking to create beautiful custom jewelry.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that there was someone out there who could make my jewelry dreams come true like Gigi did. I've blessed to have been given a plethora of heirloom jewelry from my mom. Problem is that although the quality of the jewelry is top rate, the styles are somewhat dated. I didn't know if there was a jeweler out there who would take what I had and transform it into something spectacular---until I met Gigi. Her first project was to a transformation my solitaire engagement diamond ring into a sunburst. The small diamonds were going to come from a ruby and diamond tennis bracelet my mom passed down to me a few years ago. Tennis bracelets are a little too 90's for me. So Gigi spent 8 weeks working hand in hand with my fiancé, starting with a mood board of ideas that led into a CAD of the final product. There was also an in-person ring size fitting. The communication you get from Gigi is unparalleled. She's upfront about costs and she's super conscientious about expectations and the end product. My fiancé presented me with the final product last week and I burst into tears. It's EXAXCTLY what I wanted. Next up were some ruby studs I wanted made from the same ruby bracelet to give to my sisters as bridesmaid gifts. She jumped right in and knocked those studs right out of the park. I haven't seen them yet but I'll update my review with those pics. I've never worked with a jeweler before and frankly, never will work with another. Gigi is my lady.

My fiance worked with Gigi on my engagement ring (pictured here), and she did such a wonderful job. The ring is so beautiful and perfect, and Gigi was super helpful throughout the entire process (of which I had no idea what was going on!). My fiance cannot thank Gigi enough for her hard work and meticulous detail to the ring. Starting with recommendations on the center diamond, to picking the band style and accent diamonds, her sense of jewelry and the entire creation process is second to none.

We just recently went to visit Gigi because she wanted to meet me in person and hear the story about how my fiance proposed. She really does care about her clients and after a few minutes I felt like she was a friend.

We can't recommend Gigi enough, and I look forward to working with her more on wedding bands and other jewelry :)
