ArteLuta Capoeira Academy

This is indeed a great place for kids and parents. If you're and adult looking to get fit and healthy while learning a never-boring-and-always-heart-cheering activity, look no further. ArteLuta Capoeria brings music, culture, dance, movement and a very tight community. It's pure joy and lots of sweat :) My 7yo son has joined their summer camp for two years and absolutely loves it. Varal and Monica are not only great teachers, they're amazing human beings. Do yourself a favor and join their tribe.

Varal and Monica, the owners, are two of the best, most wholesome, kind, patient, and knowledgeable people in the world. Come with an open mind and experience all that capoeira has to offer.

Varal has a magic to him. He's so very wise, knowledgeable, and an incredible capoerista. He has a special kindness that radiates from his eyes, so even when he's challenging you to be better, you can't help but to appreciate him.

If I had children, I would without a doubt send them here. I highly recommend ArteLuta to any parents looking for a culturally immersive, musical, physical, and social hobby for their children (as well as themselves).

Great class, wonderful community, and patient instructors. :) I can't recommend it enough.
I just had my first capoeira class there, and I really enjoyed the way the warmup and workout and even the motivation and meaning behind it all is built into the basic movements and the music itself.

My 4 yrs old grand daughter had a great time.
We went every Saturday for a month. The family owned business is warm and inviting to all ages.

I'm really thankful, for this place teach the kids so much ,all the staff very professional, friendly and very careful with the new regulations, 100% recommended we're coming back

Great school for young and old alike! I've been party of Arteluta for a year and a half, and would recommend anyone interested to give it a try. Professor Varal & Monica know how to help us learn all the various aspects of this fantastic practice. Plus, you get an awesome community as a benefit of your time spent here.

I have been training with Contra Mestre Varal at Arteluta Capoeira since they opened their doors nearly 6 years ago! I couldn't ask for a better teacher and a better atmosphere to be in. I consider everyone here to be family.

Love, love, love this studio. Everyone is like family and really inviting. Capoeira is already fun, but add amazing instruction by Varal and Monica and the amazing company of the other students and you get a great place to learn to play this awesome martial art.
