Prompt and knowledgeable service; efficient problem identification and repair of electric Frigidaire oven that wasn't heating; professional and friendly. Would recommend 10/10!

I was in a time crunch needing an appliance repair on our dryer before leaving town. Appalachian Appliance Repair was willing to rework their schedule to accommodate us. Found them to be very professional and courteous. They did a great job and have earned our business moving forward!

We are beyond pleased with the work that George did for us. He fixed both our dryer and our refrigerator. He came when he said he would; he fixed the problems quickly and efficiently, and he was most courteous and kind--even to our three curious little canines. Stellar customer service seems to be rare these days, but George proved to us that customer service is alive and well. We will use Appalachian Appliance again and recommend them to our family and friends. Thanks, George! You've got a fan club in Deep Gap!

I called this company because my stackable washer/dryer unit was not working. The repairman came out for the diagnostics (which cost $110). We could see that nylons were wrapped around the speed sensor, and we could see that the unit would fill with water and start, but then suddenly stop. When the office lady called with the repair estimate, I was told I needed a sensor assembly for $350. I questioned the woman on the phone, and she said she couldn't call the repairman, and she would call me back. In the meantime, I ordered a $27.88 sensor speed kit off of the GE website, got it placed on my washer, and the unit is running fine. They never did call me back.

I have used these guys twice and am about to call for another service on my microwave. They are very good and are professional and responsive. They also don't charge an arm and leg. So if you need an appliance fixed I highly recommend them!

The heating element in our dryer went out on a Thursday, and the guys from Appalachian Appliance were able to fix it the next day. We really appreciated the quick and professional service! We would have given Appalachian Appliance a 5-star review if one of the technicians had not knocked loose the hose from the washing machine while he was repairing the dryer. Because he didn't notice what he'd done to the washer, our utility room floor was covered in water the next time we washed clothes.
