Anytime Fitness

Anyone Fitness is one of the 24-hour accessible gym franchises and therefore is great for anyone with a non-traditional schedule and(or) after-hours access requirements.

This particular location is only a few weeks old as of June 2016 and is exceptional! From the exterior the gym is highly visible and well lit. Although the strip mall parking lot tends to run at capacity during typical business hours, the end of the lot where the gym is located tends to always have several spots available, parking has yet to have been an issue.

The interior is bright spacious and well appointed with a nice selection of Life Fitness cardio machines, Hammer Strength machines, free weights, squat rack, smith and cable machines and the usual appointment of benches, barbells and dumb bells. There is also a section with calisthenics and TRX suspension training exquipment as well as mat and ball training equipment.

With all new equipment and a smaller physical footprint than the large warehouse type gyms, anytime fitness is perfect for anyone wanting a more personal, in and out type experience. Staff is friendly and helpful and always available to assist or for training advice during typical business hours. The two managers Emily and Pam are great assets to the facility and are in fantastic shape themselves. It's mentioned on the website that Pam started in fitness with a weight loss journey of her own, losing 150 lbs and has been featured on the Today Show's Joy Fit Club and in Fitness Magazine.

Their membership plans are reasonable and right on par with comparable gyms. Currently they are running a no signup fee promotion as well as a free 7-day trial for anyone wanting to try out the facility that maybe interested in membership without making an initial commitment.

Employee turnover is very high.
Pros: This gym is always very clean, open 24 hours, has a nice variety of machines and equipment, and the staff is always friendly.
Cons: The reason for 3 stars - my family spends A LOT of money here for 4 family members, plus group training, and private training. In exactly 1 year I have had 4 different trainers for private and group. In the past 18 months my husband has had at least 6 private trainers. With employee turnover so high, there is little consistency. Just recently the manager of this location also quit which has caused chaos and confusion with scheduling.
The owners need to work harder on employee retention. If there continues to be confusion and turnover we will no longer use their group and private training.

This is a really helpful and friendly gym that gets me motivated for group and team training five times a week and I'm a person who does not really like to work out. The facilities are always clean. The management is helpful and caring and there are many class slots to meet my work schedule which changes from time to time.
There was a comment about changing personnel, but this has now been stabilized and the two trainers have now been there for quite a while. Both of them work you hard, but also keep an eye on you during your workout and are always looking to make modifications to keep you uninjured but working at capacity. The trainers really care that I improve my health and wellbeing and work to reach my fitness goals.
Group training is with a maximum of three others; team training can have up to seven others working out, but often there are only 1 to 2 other people in a session so there is often a lot of personal attention. Furthermore, the trainers are highly trained (one will be working on her doctorate in the field this fall).
I love the results, being able to easily carry heavy items, having my clothes fit better, having more energy in work and life and sleeping better.
If they can keep me working out and working hard, they can also likely get you going as well.

I love Anytime Fitness. This is not my home club but it's closer to my work so sometimes I come here on my lunch break to get a quick workout in. The gym is very clean and I've never had to wait for a machine. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone looking for a gym in the area.
