I'm surprised by the 5 star average.

I've been to quite a few estheticians in major cities on the west and east coast, and felt pretty disappointed that Anh is considered to be one of the best estheticians in Dallas. I had high expectations given the ratings, and I have to wonder if it's because there really aren't any good estheticians in Dallas or if it's because my experience was a one-off.

Let's start with the good:
- Anh is pretty composed
- She did not push any products
- Spa location and parking availability
- Towels and room are clean

Things I did not like:
- Anh was very rough on my face, from extractions to microdermabrasion. Luckily, my skin is healthy enough that it recovered within a few days, but it felt like she was scraping my face with something when she was performing the microderm.
- Lack of communication throughout the treatment, both in terms of what she was doing or applying to my face and its benefits, as well as the additional costs for any add-ons. It's one thing to check in with the customer and ask if they're OK with paying more for an extra service, it is another just to go ahead and perform a custom mask without customer consent or knowledge about it costing more. Moreover, nobody like getting sticker shock at the very end of a supposedly relaxing spa treatment.

Overall, I did not get the sense that Anh cares about retaining new clients or gaining them to be honest. Even with rescheduling the first appointment, she did not follow up with offering her other availability. Rather, I had to ask HER. I also asked her about new client pricing, which most spas offer, and she said her clients were happy to pay the price for her services as is, so that she did not feel a need to offer a discount.

Finally, I debated whether to write an honest review before reaching out to her. I decided to reach out to Anh to see if we could repair this awkward first encounter, and she quickly responded by saying she would credit me the difference and that it was probably best not to continue our relationship. Though she is probably right, this indicates that she really does not care for any new business, nor is she genuine about resolving the real issue or even improving as a business owner. She definitely operates under a "it's my way or the highway" mentality, and I question why people would give their $ to a small business owner who does not care about her customers.

Unfortunately, Anh is one of the only true estheticians in the Dallas area (so many med spas!), and perhaps that explains her high ratings. Take it with a grain of salt though, especially if you've received great facials in other cities.

She was great. First thing I noticed was how perfect her skin was. I came in with really bad hormonal acne. She was very warm and personable. The extractions were painful but she took her time and was very thorough. She gave me some tips on what to use on my face. I will def be back and excited to see the progress.

I went to Anh yesterday for the first time and she was amazing! Having lots of acne she cleaned my face up super well and gave me tons of helpful tips on simple things I could change to prevent some breakouts. I will definitely be coming back!!!

My skin looks fantastic and feels good.
Before I started getting facials with Anh's Skin Health & Esthetics my self esteem was going low Bc my skin was getting horrible on my face with pigmentation, acne and oily skin. Now, since the facials this is my 3rd facial I really feel great about my self and very confident. So I want to thank her for everything.

I visited Anh a few months ago and got a facial to try and combat some of the blemish issues I was having. I initially went in wanting to get a chemical peel but she stated that she doesn't do those as her treatments are more holistic and plant based. After talking to her, I realized that I have to treat my problem from within first (hormonal acne) before I tackle surface issues (acne scars and texture). The actual facial I received was extremely relaxing and she truly has hands of an angel. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! She also uses very high end Yonka products (a cosmetic company from France) and you can smell the luxury. All in all, would recommend her for a facial that'll have you glowing right out of her office.

Let's face it. I love being pampered. Something about getting facials, massages, pedicures, etc. makes me feel girlie and spoiled. what I love the most is the the care and services I get from Anh. She's the real deal when it comes to skin care and also educating you on how to take care of your skin when you're in between visits!

She's located in a prestigious neighborhood close to the Dallas north tollway. The establishment is amazing. It's inside the Yoga Center which has yoga, wellness and holistic professionals, an acupuncturist, a psychology/therapist, and several other individuals that can help you find your inner peace. Anh always helps me find mine. Her facials are amazing. Soft to the touch, great Yonka products! I love how she prepared me for the journey to Lala land by massaging my neck and shoulders before she started my facial. I told her how I loved that and she told me that she does that so you get used to her touch to help you to relax. Loved.that. She used this wand thingy that was warm and...ugh it was just heavenly. Facials come with a nice neck massage too.

The room she is in has this billowy cloud curtain on the ceiling. That along with the warmth of the room and the spa music in the background helps create the perfect relaxation setting.

Awesome awesome awesome. Highly recommend Anh! She does customized facials, and waxing. You will love her!! I will only go to Anh when I am in town.

This is my second time going to Anh and my skin hasn't been this clear in years! I have suffered from hormonal adult acne for about 4 years. I started a new skin care routine and then went to Anh and noticed a big difference in the clarity of my skin! The facials have been so relaxing I almost feel asleep both times. She always gives great massages in the time frame!

Anh is absolutely amazing- my skin feels brand new after just 1 facial. She is the only place I've gone that does the extractions in such great detail. My skin glows for months afterwards

Definitely my favorite places for a facial (I've had my share because of my adult acne). She tailors the facial to your individual needs, and she's very thorough. The shoulder and head massage is fantastic as well.

The reason why I love this place is because my skin feels so great after the facial- it feels like I got a microderm when I didn't. The extractions aren't that painful either. She also never pushes products on you, which I appreciate.

I'll definitely be a regular!
