Angelo's Pizza

I'm crazy picky, not super easy to impress.
They didn't have a slice available when we got there. Hand delivered it, piping hot when ready. Upgraded it to pepperoni because we waited five whole minutes- not a wait really.
We ate outside, had mostly finished, but not really. Had popped across the street to lightly lovingly intervene with a teen couple in a spat. (He followed my advice... it worked! She thought he was the best boyfriend ever!)

This is a great place to eat in or order take out. Whether you are here visiting or live in the island (me) , food is always wonderful, service is great and prices fair.

A local favorite!

My wife and I ordered a pizza from here to mix things up from the lots of seafood we were having while on vacation and we thought the pizza was amazing! We had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was delicious!

Food was great just took a little long to be brought out. Over all would recommend and will go again.

The pizza was phenomenal. We got a large Supreme and a large Chicken Parm pizza for takeout to eat on the sound, and our group devoured both. Angelos gets really busy, so calling your order ahead is not a bad idea. Remember to be nice to the workers-- they are grinding to get the food out and offered great service, especially given how crazy it was!

OMG, we picked up Angelo's for lunch a number of times over the years, but today I tried the fried chicken dinner (I was unusually famished). I am not much of a fried chicken connoisseur but I had a feeling it might be special. It was clearly a homemade house specialty (ok I made that up, but it must be the house specialty since it is so awesome); but it was simultaneously crispy, juicy and crunchy. The chicken is crazy good and you get four pieces and it is easy to gobble all four. It comes with fries but they went untried.

We also tried the steak and cheese sub, chili cheese fries and the wings. All were solid. We have always used takeout and seems very efficient. We have never ordered the pizza so can't offer any opinion there.

Don't be afraid try Angelo's!

The pizza was good and easily fed our party of 6. The two girls working the register were very friendly despite being swamped. The service is not quick, but they're upfront about it. We ordered 3 pizzas for takeout, and on the phone they told us it'd be about an hour and a half wait. We had no problem with that and ordered anyway, and it took exactly that amount of time! Just be prepared that it will likely be a lengthy wait and plan accordingly. Good food, good service, and they even have ice cream and an arcade to kill time while you wait. They're also near the lighthouse and some other souvenir shops to kill time!

Decent food. Really nice staff who were doing their best even though they were super busy. The wait was over an hour for carry out. Given the wait time and food quality, I'd recommend going elsewhere if the wait is long.

Awesome food. Service is great. Very friendly. Came to visit for a couple of days the end October and some of the places I go to eat are closed for the season. Thank goodness for Angelo's! Definitely recommend to everyone!

Had an Italian sub here the other day. Worth every penny. Hadn't had a chance to eat anything else.

Do NOT order the Massive Meat Pizza!
The Pepperoni was real but the rest of the toppings were questionable. Only rating this Pizza so others can avoid wasting their $$$!
