Andrew's Pizza & Bakery

We stopped by here for an hour and a half as we were part of a tour. This was our stop for lunch and most of the food places in Hood River are a little pricey and we did not want to eat a big meal because we had dinner plans and ate a huge breakfast at our hotel before going on our full day trip.
I'm so glad that we found Andrew's because we spent under $20 for lunch for all three of us. We each got a slice of pizza and we got to pick our own. I got my favorite Hawaiian, hubby got pepperoni while son got the Pizza of The Day. We forgot the name of it but he liked it a lot. We also were able to fill up our own water bottle with water and ice.
The restroom is clean and there's a tiny game room and a cute theatre at the back.
This was a nice quick lunch and kept our hunger at bay until dinner. I wish we had room for dessert as there's some great choices there.

small pizza joint. quick and delicious. you can order by the slice or buy a whole pie. they also have pasta, salad and desert. we ordered a family style pizza which had 8 slices and fed a family of 5. the soda is not coke or pepsi it's a local cola. you order at a counter and they bring the food out to you.

Amazing pizza - of all the pizzas this is a favorite. But, the people working here and serving us were so wonderful. They overheard me saying I love sun dried tomatoes and gave us a side. We tried 4 random slices and I just can't rave about it enough!

Stopped by on a busy Sunday and was pleased to walk right up to the counter and place our order. Walking back to our table next to a giant, open window we caught site of the movie theater and some pinball machines in the back.

The slice of cheese I opted for came out ahead of my partner's order. It was quite average for a slice of pizza, though my husband pointed out that premade then warmed slices of pizza will never be a show stopper.

I was all for giving this review 3 stars. However, the Andrew's Combo that he got was apparently quite good. He's a tough one to please, so I'm deferring to his rating and will know better next time than to order a slice.

Really bad food, I don't think they have a chef, just a bunch of high school kids working the kitchen.
We ordered ravioli, it came swimming in oil in a foil bowl, the breadstick was stale.
We ordered a slice of Pizza, tasted like it was made in the morning.
I would not recommend this place

Guys, it's time to hire a chef and not serve bad food to folk

LOVE Andrews! As a local, I come here all the time and enjoy food that you can never go wrong with. They have different pizzas, (pie or slice), pastas, salads and deserts. Movie theater and arcade in the back and a casual ambiance. Great bus your own table service

Not to thin,not to thick crust! Andrews Special was just right ! We weren't planning on pizza for dinner, but it worked out great. All of the " trendy" places were crazy. One place had a two hour wait so went closer to downtown Hood River and happened to park around the corner and what a find! The sliced tomatoes were actually fresh AND tasted like tomatoes
We dined outside at a raw edge table with a nice view of the mountains. The staff and service was friendly and prompt.
Skip the lines and enjoy a delicious pie.

What's below one star? They took my order at 558 and when I asked what was taking so long the woman told me they've been really slammed. This is what it looked like at 628. I said "it's not been busy at all". And she just shrugged and said "well it's going to be done in 10 minutes which it is taking a long time so you can have your money back but it's going to be done in 10 min.." So I'm with two hungry kids and am now super annoyed. I said "well that's not really an option because I'm going to be screwed either way. My pizza is taking too long and if I get my money back I'm without dinner." So I waited. And it was tasteless and disappointing. They probably wanted to spit on it when I complained.

I'll never come back here even if I'm desperate. I should've just waited at Solstice or Full Sail.

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick slice. And the service was AMAZING! One of the nicest guys ever. Told us how the owner makes the desserts homemade and he showed us around to the movie theater that is connected to the pizza place!!!! Cutest little theater ever! Slice of pizza was hot and fresh. We ended up going back later that night before they closed and got a Neapolitan cake and Banana fosters cake! Let me tell you. Sooooo Delicious. This is a must try!

Came here on a whim. The pizza was so good and the crust is to die for. We had the garlic ranch bacon pizza and couldn't get enough!!!
