AMC CLASSIC Williamsport 11

Visiting Williamsport and decided to take in a movie since the weather was chilly. Nice people at the ticket counter and refreshment area. Comfortable seats. Clean theatre and restrooms. Easy to find and close parking.

Everything is dirty here. Noticed it as we were walking up to the front door. Just touching and opening the door makes you feel like you need to sanitize everything for 5 feet.

Inside was worse. Floors were dirty and wet. Soda area was a wet sticky mess. Bathrooms? Stench, wet floors, disgusting toilets.

Looked like they had plenty of workers... just none of them cleaning.

No that the mall theater is closed, they are the only game in town. We won't be back... take our money out of town.

Two times I came here in a week.
Each time the box office was closed and I had to buy a ticket at the concession stand. This wouldn't be so annoying but both times there were two employees in the box office with their back to me huddled together chatting. They may have been doing work, but they should not be standing in the place where they should be helping me. I then had to stand in the long concession line to buy a ticket.

The employees here are bedraggled, and loud. Shouting to one another doen the hallways, and between the box office and concessions.

The soda machines and the surrounding counters both times were blown out, sticky, dirty, and a mess.

The theater itself was fine, the seats were good, and the sound and picture passable. Nothing to rock your socks.

But the staff and the overall interaction of the ticket and concession buying process is enough to make me feel like AMC doesn't check in on how their theaters are meeting their brand standard.

I was so looking forward to going to a movie, as I have not been to one in a long time. The theater was so uncomfortably cold. It was warmer outside. This made for an awful return to the movies.

Expensive but convenient. Popcorn meh half the time it's barely warm could use a lot of work with food and staff

Why don't they turn the lights down for previews? Kinda hard to see the screen. Turn the lights down!

Extremely poor projection - hot spot in center of the screen; vignette at the sides, low resolution - saw the Bond film, Spectre. What a mistake! It looked like an old film print from the 1970s. It was theater # 5
