Bathroom is very clean and nice smelling. Theater seats are spacious, reclines a bit, but not very comfortable. Overall, nice, clean movie theater.
Took escalator to go to 2nd floor theater section & to the 3rd floor bathroom. Tookl elevator out of curiosity to go to main floor, after the movie ended. Both smooth and good working conditions. Didn't visit the concession, so can't comment about that. Movie was clear and screen was very large and clear.
Would be a valuable added plus to have closed caption for those who are hard of hearing or deaf.
Overall environment is quiet, centrally located short close walking distance to all trains and buses. OK experience, just no wow factor.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 24, 2015
This is my go-to movie theater, love the stadium seating, the chairs.....you can not adjust the armrest and cuddle (we worked around that...I'm a teacher hes a barber practical and creative), and the surround sound...all standard in movie theaters however the customer service is amazing (friendly and attentive), the efficient and always functioning kiosk, and the cleanliness (I hate sticky floors in the dark) makes this my movie theater of choice.
Are there lines ..always on opening day this should be a no brainer.
Buy your tickets in advance (I damn sure do) and enjoy the show.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 114266606Oct 24, 2017
AMC has always been nice to me- from date nights to date days, they never seem to disappoint. This is one of my favorite theaters in the area. Prime Location helps!
I always love ordering my tickets on fandango-- makes ticket entry run smoothly. Super close to the subway, which is also a plus. I love to reserve seats here- theater itself is pretty clean inside... floors are not sticky (eww!)
Bathrooms are pretty cleans and the staff at the snack stations are very friendly and fast with the orders.
There are tons of restaurants in the area if you get hungry-- great spot for a dinner and movie or vise versa.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Raven H.Seattle, WA47122441Dec 27, 2017
Pretty Good Theater, although they aren't Showing Star Wars in 3D on IMAX screen (which is smaller than the IMAX screen in Seattle). Oh well, it's become a Christmas tradition since Disney is spitting them out regularly now.
Star Wars, nothing but Star Wars, nothing but Star Wars Dant ta da DantHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 2, 2017
Wow this theater is just great. It's really big as well. The staff were nice and the movies here are varied. the popcorn was delicious, as well as the hot dog. Definitely one of the cleaner and less populated theaters. Recommend highly!

Alright location with blue subway line across the street. Walkable to other subway lines at penn station or after. Really walkable to ktown too. Quite a big theatre with separated floors. Older theatres but it's not too bad, still quite clean. Service is good, staffs are friendly and not my go to location but it's not bad. If the movie I want is only playing here or I'm around the area, I wouldn't mind coming back to this theatre

Meh, this could have been much better.
As an international traveler with a few hours to spare (and sore feet), I decided to stop by AMC and watch a movie while I waited for my friend to get off work. I checked the screening times online and headed to the theater.
Bought my ticket on one of the self-serving machines with an international card and had no problem. Walked to the staff member checking the tickets and since the movie was R rated he stopped me and ask to see my ID. Even though I am in my late-20s I gave him my Brazilian driver's license, which by the way I had no issue using in any bar in America, and he first made fun of my nationality than said my document was fake and I was probably not even 18 years-old.
Obviously saying that a woman is 10 years younger is not horrible however his service and comment were completely inappropriate.
Finally, when he let me go, I waited in line for popcorn. Almost gave up when I saw the outrageous prices, but since I really wanted a snack I hang in there. Long story short, they did not accept any cards that are international and I didn't have enough cash.... Another point against it.
The room itself is tiny and chairs are not super comfortable. You cannot choose your seats in advance and I did not appreciate the moldy smell inside.
Considering the location of the theater I would certainly change a few things, specially the international credit card issue, which I never experienced in other AMC locations around the country.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Chung C.New York, NY0325Nov 12, 2018
Consider before you go.
For a few years, movie theaters won't stop you bringing your own coffee to movies.
But yesterday noon when I went to this 34th street AMC for Overlord, the guy checking ticket told me I gotta finish the coffee before going in.
I had been going to this theater a few times with my coffee brought from next door and no one stopped me.
I was kinda wondered and said when are we not allowed to bring coffee of our own in again?
I told him I just brought it, can I just leave it here and come back for it after.
I didn't wanna just throw away or gulp a full cup of hot coffee.
No wonder, when I came back after the movie, the coffee was not there anymore.
I don't know does this location just change their policy, or its just this ticket guy's own policy.
But I rather not trying my luck again with this location if I wanna bring a coffee for a movie next time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jordyn S.New York, NY4337Apr 15, 2022
The seat heaters are very sensitive to the touch and too hot. It kept changing throughout my movie and I was very uncomfortable and got really warm
