Alex Lopez

I met Alex after he cold-called me on my way to work :). I had recently made an inquiry on a property on Zillow and had been crunching numbers, frustrated and confused about how to buy a property without 20% down payment. Alex was very polite and listened to my frustrations, and also pointed me in the direction to get approved for a loan and seek out a property that would fit my budget. Alex made the process relatively easy and was always available to answer my questions (of which I had many). Alex is very knowledgeable about the real estate market, friendly, easy to talk to, patient and I would recommend him to anyone. I thought my dream of owning a home was impossible. Less than 3 months after our first call he handed me the keys to my first home!!!

Alex and his team reached out to me since the court allowed me to be the Administrator of my father's Estate, father passed away last year. I did not initially respond to Alex and his team since my mother did not want to move from her home and neighborhood. She had been living in her home/neighborhood for 50+ years.

Once my mom passed away this year, I began to consider selling my mom's home since my life/job was in Colorado. My mom's house was in poor condition and I was worried about selling the house in its current condition. I expected buyers would ask for big discounts on the sale of the house.

I worked mostly with Alex. He saved me so much time and effort with regards to managing my mom's home. The house went through extensive renovations. Alex, found all the contractors. Most of the contractors charged very reasonable rates for their work and materials. Renovations costs were quite low because these contractors were vetted by Alex and/or he used these same contractors for his own private renovations projects.

Once the sale of the home began, Alex continued to excel in providing the professional/experienced guidance. Alex recommended staging the house which created so much interest in the house. Eventually, we found a buyer. Alex provided much guidance through the process of negotiating with the buyer's real estate agent. I followed Alex's lead and finally the house sold at a reasonable market value.

I will consult with Alex in the future if I am ever interested in buying or selling a house in California.

I appreciate Alex's wealth of experience, can do attitude, and professionalism.

DO NOT USE ALEX LOPEZ AS YOUR AGENT! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Extremely disappointing experience with Alex and his daughter Carolina.

The process started when I found a property myself online and we contacted him after we visited to get the buying negotiations started. We ran into tons of issues with Alex from the very beginning and he ultimately almost lost us the sale of the home.

Some of the issues

* Non-Responsive and had to chase him for literally any answer.
* He didn't even attend important meetings and instead had his 20 year old daughter read off a script instead.
* Missed deadline after deadline set by the seller and ended up almost losing us the deal MULTIPLE TIMES
* Ghosted us without even having the decency to let us know he didn't want to work with us anymore.

We ended up going with another far more professional agent who was much more comfortable handling our questions and actually negotiating for us and we got our offer accepted within 48 hours of contacting him. Now it is our home and we love it, no thanks to Alex Lopez!

The worst part is the even after all of this, Alex then decided to go after the agent who helped us in court and TRIED TO STEAL THE COMMISSION HE DID NOTHING TO EARN AS WE FOUND THIS HOUSE OURSELVES.

Alex has a huge ego so if you ignore this and go with him as an agent, don't question him or he will literally walk out on you.

Carolina and Alex were incredible! We were very nervous to go into this process and met them at an open house by chance. So glad we did. We had been told by our peers that the home-buying journey is a stressful one and that it would likely take us months or up to a year to finally find something and get our offer accepted! Well it took us a MONTH with Carolina and Alex. From beginning to end they made sure our offer was competitive, made sure we knew what we were doing and why we were doing it, and ultimately made sure everything went smoothly! Buying a home is nerve wracking no matter what but with them I knew they had our best interest and because of that we found our first ever home! Thank you so much you two!

From the beginning, Alex was completely unprofessional and treated me and my family as a nuisance. You would think an agent whose LITERAL JOB is to assist you purchasing a home would be responsive and want to help you make the purchase, but it was Alex's own incompetence that almost lost us the house!!

- We contacted HIM to be our agent, and from the start, he pawned us off to his 20-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER who was our contact for everything as Alex was not communicating with us.

- We would have to follow up with him via text or call on the status of things as he wouldn't tell us anything until we bugged him enough to finally 'text' the selling agent and get some kind of a response.

- After we were outbid by another seller, we asked Alex what we could do to get back in the game as we loved the house and wanted it to be ours. He then proceeded to blame us as *direct quote from him* " We should have offered more if we wanted the house that much"

It all came to an end when we expressed our frustration to Alex about the situation and asked what options we had left for this home. He got upset and then stopped responding to us. We texted, called, and left voicemails asking him to clarify his last message to us which said "The end" and never heard back.

We were lucky enough to meet an AMAZING agent who literally came in last minute and was able to get our offer accepted within 48 hours! We are now owners of our DREAM house, NO THANKS TO ALEX!

The worst part of it all is that Alex then tried to STEAL the commission from this agent who did ALL the work of actually getting the deal done when he did absolutely NOTHING!!

Rude, unprofessional, and arrogant!!

Received a phone call from Carolina Lopez of the Alex Lopez Team today. She called asking if we would be "cooperative" with a buyer on our for sale by owner listing. I advised her I didn't know what that meant as anyone selling their home has to be cooperative with a buyer? And she muttered something then rudely hung up. Real estate is a consumer business. A realtor must be polite, patient and great at explaining answers to questions. NONE of which Carolina Lopez did in my case. I have attached screenshots of the i conning call which was at 8:32 am. (Common courtesy says you shouldn't call anyone before 9 am, or after 9 pm) so that was strike 1. Then I gave her the honest benefit of the doubt by texting her to see if her phone died. Message went through and showed delivered. She didn't respond. So clearly, it was deliberate to hang up on me. See attached proof screenshots.

We are forever thankful to the Alex Lopez Real Estate Group!! Especially to Carolina, Alex and Fernando!! They're an amazing team, thanks to them my parter and I were able to get the home we dreamed of!!

Incredibly good experience with Alex Lopez, Carolina Lopez and the entire team in our search of a new home. After working with another agent that wasn't very helpful nor knowledgeable we got to see what god service is. My wife and I had the luck of finding them in an open house. We looked at at dozens of homes and their team was always available to see homes on any day of the week. Due to market conditions and how competitive it is, they continually worked with us to discuss strategies and increase our chances with our offers. The Alex Lopez team along with their preferred lender made our process very smooth. We just closed escrow on one of the various offers we got accepted. We highly recommend the Alex Lopez Team!!

I've known Alex for almost 6 years. He was a member at TCA. I've worked closely him, his wife, his daughter, and his step-daughter through their journey with health and fitness.

His partner in crime was Carolina Lopez who worked tirelessly keeping us abreast of what needed to be done to be successful and Elia López Fuentes who manages Lotus Escrow.

The team was a knockout success!

I reached out to him and he helped us through the entire process, we were able to refinance at a lower rate as well as cash out some of our equity to make some upgrades to home. Alex is my go to guy when it comes to real estate or anything related.
