I've been here 3 times. And every time, every time!, it has been completely empty. Meaning: no one else, absolutely no one else eating here. I've always wondered how this place has stayed in business.

The food is not great, but not bad. There are fresh made juices, which are ok. But the reason I like the place is that they leave you alone. When I came here with a friend, and we wanted to catch up, we were brought our food, and they didn't bother us. There is a kind of European feel, with this sort of unintrusive service. And I think one of the waiters was recently arrived from Ukraine, so perhaps this is a touch of Eastern Europe in a Mediterranean restaurant.

Also, I spent a few hours studying here once, because all of the coffeehouses were packed, and Albano's was dependably empty. And they refilled my fresh juice gratis. In the summer the patio seating is very nice. Really, it is a cafe in the Mediterranean sense: sit back in the sun with some friends, relax, and have some appetizers.
