Hi Alice, This is Jordan the owner of Aioli restaurant. It is closed but our catering company is still open. We recently purchased an existing restaurant called Bricco Cucina and Wine Bar in Laguna Niguel… more

Are they open on Thanksgiving day and Friday after?
A:
I would doubt it. They cater to the working lunch crowd in the area. Their hours are already brief, so you're best bet would be to call and check.

This place is yummy. I came here to get a burger for lunch but decided on the Italian beef sandwich instead. It had quite a bit of flavor and a nice big portion.
I'd definitely come back if I'm in the areaHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 27, 2019
Rounding up from 4.5.
I used to live in Chicago and since moving to California, I've been wanting authentic Chicago foods.
This place is in an unassuming location with plenty of parking. It's almost like a food court area, where you order at the counter and wait for the food to come out.
The Italian beef was the best I've found in SoCal. Yes, better than Portillos. I've been to a couple of other so called Chicago style restaurants and they have been a complete let down. I just loved how it all tasted together, flavor wise. I asked for spicy and sweet peppers.
The price point is fair, they use quality ingredients. The best is having the 10% off discount when checking in.
The only reason why this wasn't a 5 star review was because of the aioli fries. They weren't crispy and lacked flavor.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jun 1, 2018
This review is based purely on the Italian Beef.
I have to honestly say that I've only had Portillos in Chicago so I'm not a Italian Beef expert. The Italian Beef came out super hot on a soft roll with tons of finely sliced premium beef that's super moist. For the size and price it's a gem amongst the other places in this food court. I highly suggest getting the Italian Beef with the fries and soda for an extra 2.99 because the fries are fresh cut and taste delicious.
Burgers look tasty too.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Douglas L.Irvine, CA72036Feb 12, 2020
Walking distance from a branch I was visiting. I came a few minutes before the store closed on a weekday a couple weeks ago. The food court-ish area was quiet. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables occupied at any point of time I was there.
Fire burger. This was the only item I ordered which comes with fries. This was surprisingly good. It would be very grudgingly difficult for me to order a different item next time.
Service. The guy was super friendly and helpful, even asked if I needed anything before he started closing shop.
I would rate the place 5 stars for that day's experience. Will come back to see if the service and food is consistent.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Khanh D.Santa Ana, CA212163148Jul 13, 2019
This place is near my work! I got a citrus grilled shrimp plate for lunch and really liked it! It is easy to miss because it is located inside a food court at the corner of the plaza (I totally missed it and went in a circle LOL). The shrimps were HUGE and so flavorful. I wasnt a huge fan of the texture of the basil rice since it is super mushy, however, the flavoring was buttery and good! It also came with a super garlic-y and delicious aioli sauce which I smothered everything with!
Good portion size for $10!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 3, 2018
(+1) Service: Very attentive and i liked that the server had a smile on. I almost ordered the Greek food next door but was a little put off at how inattentive the server was. She wasn't standing in front of us and was busy packaging food; even after she asked if we were ready and we said yes, she still stood where the food was being packaged as opposed to where the cash register is and seemed to be looking elsewhere.
(+1) Price: I'm stuff right now writing this review so for the price, about $8.50 for the Aioli Bowl, I'd say it was worth it!
(+1) Food: This review is based solely on the Aioli Bowl. The rice wasn't dry and the ingredients were fresh but everything was drenched in their sauce (which is fine if you like it like that), but it felt too heavy for me. i should have asked for the sauce on the side. I'll still give it a plus one though!
(+1) Location/Venue: Love how close this is to home. There's several other options in this little plaza and parking is easy to find.
(+1) Recommend: Yes. would love to try the other items on their menu in the futureHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jenn L.Long Beach, CA2763032407Oct 25, 2019
The salad is lackluster and the sandwich came on super soggy bread. The dressing for the grilled veggie salad was too tart and was a very bland salad in general. The combo sandwich came on super soggy bread ... we ate it immediately there so I would hate to imagine how it would be if I took it to go. The person at the register also seemed like he didn't want to be there and didn't speak clearly when taking our order. I definitely don't need to come here again.

Today was just a another day of good food including good service I failed to notice I gave Aioli 4 star but everything about there food is great. I put down another Italian Beef and it's perfect as usual. My suggestion is get some extra dipping juice on the side and don't forget to include peppers which I like both spicy and sweet just adds more flavor.
I encouraged a friend to join me for lunch and he had the same thing and was blown away with all the flavors. At this point I've only had about 4 dishes but all 4 are always cooked just perfectly. This is a great lunch spot I'll glad it's walking distance from my office.
Thanks again guys.....Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 1, 2018Previous reviewSo I've been here a few times and it hasn't disappointed. I've been getting the Italian Beef with all fixings and it's just amazing there dipping sauce is perfect. I've got this sandwich about 4 times now and it's a bit heavy so if your a light eater this isn't the right lunch I finish only half.
So today I decided to get the Old Fashion burger. I'm not a burger fan but felt like one and it was really good even the bun/bread was nice and soft, would I order the burger again, in a heart beat. I also got the Aioli fries which were really good they add a cream sauce which gives them a little zip. I recommend sharing or eating them all (which is a lot) but they will get soggy if you don't eat them all. I've been here a hand full of times and every time it's been good I grabbed a to go menu and there are a few more things I want to try. - 506528868Sep 24, 2015
I had really high hopes for this spot. It is located inside the Main Place food court off Jamboree and Main. This place has the makings of the perfect burger, but it sort of fell short of great in my book. Perhaps its my choice on the menu that I made a mistake on... so I wont be too harsh.
First off, I should know this, but when you go to a new establishment you should always ask what they are known for. My guess should have been to get the plain cheeseburger, but I opted or the Chili burger (The Cowboy) which had pickles and mustard on a brioche bun.
Now the bun was a little to soft for me, Brioche should have some crunch. The chili was a little bland, it could have used a kick. The burger, was decent. The meat was flavorful, so you knew the quality was good.
The fries for me are a miss. I think its the oil they use, i'm just not a big fan of these types of fries.
The Herb Aioli leaves a bit to be desired. It tastes like rosemary, was whipped in olive oil. Meh. Needed more flavor, and in my own opinion, a place called Aioli, should do Aioli right.
The Price is on par witih most burger places that are steps ahead of fast food. Around $13 with Burger, Fries, Drink.
I'll give this place another shot because of proximity. Until then, 3 stars it is.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 3785571338Apr 8, 2015
Satisfying and indeed a very solid burger... that you wouldn't expect in a food court?! A great stop for a late lunch - give and take about 10 minute wait from order to serving since I was the only person eating so late.
Lola Burger caught my eye since I didn't want anything BBQ or Baconized, and it was a great pick! Herb aioli definitely came on a little strong at first - both taste and smell - but overall a good burger. It was juicy but not to the point where the bun-patty-bun was falling apart. A little bit on the greasy side but it makes a great cheat meal if that's what you need!
Since it's more like fast food, you wouldn't expect any service - but the guy working there was friendly and even gave a quick shout-out to me and asked me how my burger was. With my mouth full - all I could do was give him a big thumbs up :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
