Aguanga General Store

You don't find many general stores left. This is the real deal. An old store at the cross roads out in the back country. I stopped in for a drink. It had the regular assortment of refreshments and food items. There isn't much going on at Aguanga. It's on the way between Palm Desert and San Diego, or Temecula, depending on which way you are going.

The one time I went into the store, the woman working couldn't even get off her personal phone call. I got one small bag of dog food and one 12 pack of sprite which somehow came to 20 dollars! This place is massively overpriced with extremely poor customer service. Not worth even the convenience, better to make the drive into town for better prices and customer service.

Rude, rude, rude, rude, rude! I turned around to go to this general store thinking hey support a small business. Man behind counter very rude when he saw I was just buying a soda with my debit card and complained it charges him money. Then proceed to lie and tell me my card was declined maybe he was to stupid to know how to use the debit machine or just lazy who knows. I drove into Temecula and stopped at the next store I could fine and my card went through no problem. This place is also dirty and I think the owner lives in the back. I will never stop here again. Get your act together. We should just report you and take that tiny dump bull doze it.
Rather spend my money anywhere but here. Gross and breaking several health codes.

There's not very many general stores around anymore, so having this one still around makes it such a convenience, the owner is super cool and always friendly, they have pretty much everything easy and simple you could need, I will always support this small business when I am passing by

Milk was reasonably priced. I'm not surprised often. 5 stars for this one...
