Very nice salon! Everyone is very friendly and courteous. My hairstylist was Alyssa and she was very sweet and gave me some amazing tips in regards to my hair! The pricing is also very reasonable and they do an amazing job. Will definitely be coming back again!

This is my 1st Yelp Review ever -- please bear with me...
I'm so bummed to say this, as I've been a loyal Adolf Biecker customer since 2019 and have stayed with the salon through multiple turnovers with colorists. They do a phenomenal job with hair! That's never been the issue, hence why I'm so sad about needing to find a new salon.
My frustration is with the reception staff. I work in customer service and, believe me, I deeply understand the challenges posed by dealing with the public. Everyone is entitled to having a bad day, feeling stressed, juggling too much at once, etc., but unfortunately, this wasn't a one-off. For the past year or so, I've been met with unprofessionalism, apathy, and annoyance when speaking with Adolf Biecker receptionists. As ridiculous as this may sound, I feel like I've been transported back to high school mean girls every time I get off the phone. I'm very confused by this situation, being a customer-facing professional myself. If I treated my clients like this, I'd be unemployed (note: please don't fire anyone -- I'm writing this to bring awareness to a blind spot within management/customer experience).
I certainly don't intend to rant or speak ill of anyone at Adolf Biecker as I adore this salon, but I feel belittled and like a burden whenever I call the salon. I've never had an issue with any staff in person nor have I ever had any issues with services. This whole situation perplexes me but has also driven me to explore new salons that will treat me like a respected, valued client.
I hope I don't sound like a Karen... I'm older Gen Z (mid-20s) and have never left a negative review before, but if my generation is leaving a Yelp review, there's a glaring issue. I sincerely hope you take my feedback into consideration.

If you want a place to get your hair coloured, don't go here. I'm a new client- I only went here because a family member suggested it. I initially went on the website to book for a color, cut, and blow-dry, but there was nothing on this location having hair color bookings, so I went with the blow-dry and cut. I figured maybe they do hair color in person and I'd have to pay extra which I wouldn't mind. The email they sent for confirming my appointment stated to arrive 15 minutes early for some spa treatments, I figured it would just be a mini-skincare routine, I was given none. When I got there, I asked if I could get my hair colored, but that would have to be a separate booking. I at least got to go through some hair color samples with the guy who was suppose to color my hair. However I had to wait until May 29th to get it done, it was April 16th when I got the blow dry and cut. May 29th arrives, and then around 8:30 in the morning I get a call that John, the guy who was suppose to do my hair, was sick. They never bothered recommending me someone else to do my hair, they ask to reschedule for Thursday at 2pm. I couldn't do that due to finals week coming up (I'm a college student, which made it more inconvenient for them to suggest I'd get it done the Thursday the following week) so I decided to do May 18th. Fast forward to today I get a call saying he's sick again. I decided that I'm not gonna go forward with this as it is ridiculous to make me wait over two months for getting my hair colored. Especially since they didn't even bother to suggest anyone else to do my hair much sooner.

Maybe the most unprofessional salon on the Main Line. I am a new client and had an appointment with Jim G for 230. I have had that appointment for 2+ months. They asked me 3 times to confirm it which I did and then, 2 hours before I'm scheduled to get my hair cut, I get a call that Jim can't take me. He has to leave for the day. They offer to reschedule me for December. Say what? Absolute utter nonsense. If this is the way they treat a new client before they are there, I cannot imagine how you get treated when you show up. Avoid this place.

I got my hair cut here and my friend got her hair "highlighted". The cut was average but the highlights were terrible for the price. We told them that we were upset at the quality, but they didn't care. We won't be going back! The highlights are very minimum (almost can't see anything) and uneven throughout, we had assumed going to a pricy place would bring good results. The guy doing the highlights was jumping between about 4 clients so there was no attention to detail or consultation to advise on what would look best- just take our money and bring in the next client. $200 down the drain!
I'm not sure why a representative is commenting below asking to hear more- we told them it was poor in the salon hoping they would fix it. I have been a good customer for several years. But today was the last straw. I was on time and waited over 30 min. to be seen. I was then brought to the back where I sat waiting while others around me were getting seen. For the prices they charge, and after being a faithful customer for several years, Adolf Biecker certainly treated me horribly!

I love this salon! I have thick and curly hair and I am never satisfied with my haircuts but this place does a great job. I also got balayage and it looked natural and blended beautifully with my natural highlights. They do a great job and are not outrageously expensive. If you need a great haircut or color this is a great place to go!

Jim is the best thing to ever happen to my hair!!! I highly recommend him! Been getting my haircuts/blowouts here for over 10 years now with him, and I've never once been disappointed with the service or end result he provides. He takes his time on each client, makes sure he knows exactly what you're looking for is accomplished, has great conversation throughout the process, and overall does an amazing job and sends you home with fabulous looking hair. He also gives very real advice on hair care and how he thinks you'll look the best. I used to be a control freak about my haircuts, but with Jim, I just sit in his chair and let him do his thing.
