I didn't know what to expect from Adelaide's Bistro going in since it's located at a bed and breakfast in downtown Mt. Pleasant, but it was a surprisingly-fantastic meal from start to finish and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to mix up their usual date spot or try something new. We started with the pesto hummus, which was complimented perfectly by the warm Naan bread. I'm a big hummus fan and this was far and away, the best I've had. We followed it up with the lobster tail (super-tasty) and the Ginko side salad (pro tip: get it with the maple apple cider vinaigrette dressing). Seating is limited to around 20 or so and on the night we stopped in, the 6 PM crowd was on the older side, which led to some fun and funny dinner conversations with the other diners. It was actually a really nice change of pace compared the the usually-louder locales around town. A younger crowd rolled in by 7 PM, and while they didn't get to enjoy the same funny stories that the older gentleman in his 80s at the next table shared with us during our meal, I'm sure their meal was just as tasty. Do yourself a favor: give Adelaide's a shot and you will not be disappointed by this hidden gem in Mt. Pleasant.

Wow. My husband and I just left here a couple of hours ago. We were greeted right away and were given a spot to sit and menus. We were told by the woman she would get our little one a straw. 27 MINUTES went by and not one person asked us to take our order. The woman that seated us even came up and took some of our place settings to give to someone else, and was in at least 4 times. The server never once said a word to us and was in and out also at least 4 times, and we were completely ignored. We got up and went to the Brass Café. We will not be coming back.
