Best gluten free pizza I ever had! Ada's was hoppin' busy on a Friday night and we waited for a table for about 10 minutes. Servers were super busy but Rain, our server, made sure we were well taken care of.
We enjoyed the Prosciutto and Margherita GF pizzas so much we ate the whole pans! The caramelized onions and garlic gave the prosciutto pie the most delectable taste.
Mussels in white wine sauce were also truly the best ever - the sauce was perfectly garlicky and delicious.
Parking out back may get a little crowded but Ada's is worth a walk to park!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sarah C.Old Lyme, CT02123Feb 24, 2024
We stumbled upon Ada's kitchen a few months ago and were immediately smitten by the vibe, the service, the menu selections and quality of the food. So pleased, that during our meal we purchased a gift certificate for our son. We shared cocktails and a salad with Ada's Board, and had a really lovely evening.
Returning last weekend I was wondering if the experience would be as good. It was better! Another Ada's Board for my husband and a bowl of the freshest mussels I can recall tasting anywhere in the world. Fun live music, and a packed house! Can't wait to go back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 5, 2024
It is a pretty special thing to get a truly authentic Carbonara here in mid-coast Maine, or any other place outside of Rome! It is a pretty simple recipe, all in all, we are talking 4 ingredients. But in that simplicity is magic! Can't believe it has take. Us so long to get here, but glad we did in this frigid January Maine night!

This place was a great experience. Was recommended by a local friend and it did not disappoint. Actually ended up going here two nights in a row. I tried four different types of pizza and they were all delicious, i also tried their spinach ravioli which did not disappoint. Egg plant parm was also good. Ended the evening with tiramisu and espresso martinis which were amazing. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was their rum based cocktail selection. The one i tried was nothing special. Overall would highly recommend

Last Friday night my wife and I went to Ada's Kitchen on advice of the crew of the windjammer we were sailing on. They were crazy busy and we came without reservations (not a good plan). But the hostess worked things out and found us a small two seat table within five minutes. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful which is great because my wife cannot deal with most cheese. The solution was creating a dish from the mussels in wine sauce with plain spaghetti which was yummy. I had the spaghetti carbonara (first time for me). The pasta was perfect, the sauce very rich. We had so much to eat we had to skip dessert but maybe next time!
As busy as they were the restaurant still has a homey feel. Worth the trip!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Aug 18, 2021
Ada's Kitchen is a favorite of good friends who live in nearby Cushing, so my husband and I were excited to dine there. The advance buzz lived up to the hype. The space is gorgeous, the service is stellar - great with help navigating the menu and offering delicious suggestions. Portions are on the larger side, so come hungry or be prepared to leave with leftovers.
I started with a La Rosa Spritz, from their "Spritz and Negroni" menu, an elegantly delightful start to the meal. Mussels and olives followed as appetizers, both good in their own right, but the main courses simply stole the show. Ada's offers both GF pasta and GF pizza crust, and when asked to choose, our helpful server enthusiastically recommended the pizza. I was torn between the funghi and sausage or the cacio e pepe, and again our server was there with a "why not both?" So I had the cacio e pepe with mushrooms and sausage on top. Amazingly good, and gluten free.
Other raves from our table included the chicken parmesan, the chicken Milanese, and the carbonara pasta. A beautiful bottle of red accompanied our most excellent repast.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Business owner information

Moving to a new town requires a few essential pieces of knowledge to make it feel like home. Things like where to put out the trash, a good local florist and a friendly weeknight bar.
Ada's satisfies the latter in spades. A busy and convivial dining room is flanked by a long, well-tended bar stocked with interesting local beers, wines by the glass (and on a great bottle list) and excellent cocktails.
Small plates, fantastic salads (the little gem and peach and tomato burrata Caprese are wonderful) make great starters. To follow, there is homemade pasta, larger plates like Chicken Parmesan or perfectly delicious pizza served in two sizes.
Often, Ada's features live music and weekends are especially lively, so make sure to reserve in advance. For me, Wednesday night at the bar either solo or with husband in tow is perfect...I feel right at home!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Elisabeth F.Cos Cob, CT304242Jul 26, 2023
Delicious salad offerings; just what we were looking for.
Yummy beers on tap, reasonably priced.
Is it a thing now, to not offer bread or crackers at every table? That was disappointing, but it's not my first time experiencing that.
Service was excellent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julie R.Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV1591618Jul 5, 2022
