My girlfriend and I stopped by today for lunch and couldn't be happier! We have driven by there daily for the last year and kept saying we were going to stop, and finally did.
Super friendly people, and awesome food. We ordered fried green tomato on sweet potato biscuits, and I got bacon on mine. Everything was fresh and natural. I have found my new favorite lunch spot in Marshfield!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Chris M.Marshfield, MA8693446Jul 11, 2013
Lots to choose from here. They make canned goods like jellies, chutney, and sauces. And they make pies (both dessert pies and savory meat pies). And they make soups, stews, and some baked goods. Some unique items too, like candied orange peel and candied oranges.
Hard to choose what to eat. Maybe just pick a corner and work your way around the shop.
They're closed Monday and Tuesday, and they close early on Sunday.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - H M.Marshfield, MA91693Jul 23, 2015
Really 2.5 stars but gave 3 since yelp doesn't do half stars.
Cute but very small local place down in Rexhame area of town. The past couple Thanksgivings we've gotten a couple pies. Usually an apple and chocolate cream. I know they're homemade and from scratch but $20 for a chocolate pie of any kind is outrageous, especially considering there's no fruit in it to jack the price up. The pie is decent but certainly not worth $20, maybe $12. The apple pie was rather tasteless and guests commented that an apple pie someone else brought from Roche Brothers was better and half the price. I always aim to give local businesses the business but if the product isn't worth it then I can't justify.
The other week we went in and got a couple BLTs. The gal working was very nice and friendly and made the sandwiches promptly. The owner rang us up and it came to around $16. She wasn't that friendly even after I gave a dollar and change tip. I didn't appreciate that there was no thank you or acknowledgement, especially where shes the owner. She was far too focused on the people behind us and taking their order.
The sandwiches left much to be desired. I took two bites of mine and pulled out a piece of white, uncooked bacon. This is especially concerning since I'm pregnant. My moms was better with cooked bacon but each sandwich only had one tomato slice and a ton of lettuce. The rolls were fresh but interesting for a BLT. They smelled like pastries! It was a strange flavor for a sandwich when the rolls smell like donuts.
Overall I wish we've had better experiences here because I really wanted to like this place. Still may try out one or two more items in the future to seal the deal one way or another.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Janet T.The Villages, FL0192Jul 10, 2017
Monica is a master at creating unique, fresh from scratch meals. Her food is delicious and portions are generous. Monica and her staff are friendly and attentive. Her Facebook page is the best way to see what's on the menu. Her selections change daily.

Monica is really running something special in her shop, from the moment you walk in and feel like you have stepped back in time to your Grandma's kitchen to taking that first bite of whatever she prepared just for you it is a completely warming experience. She makes fresh soups, pies, breads, sandwiches, coffee, etc., I got to enjoy her chicken soup with fresh bread last week along with a chicken salad sandwich on her homemade wraps (think slightly flatter and way fresher pita bread). The pies are to die for! Monica is so friendly and greets everyone with a smile...

Per my daughter's recommendation, tried this for the first time today. Was quite surprised how great of a place this is. Had a buffalo chicken wrap with chipotle mayo. It came with a slice of watermelon. Super fresh wrap bread and delicious contents. Fast, friendly service! I will be back!

This a wonderful spot to get homemade delicious sandwiches for lunch, and/or to take to the beach. they have specials every day, My husband and I love when they have the prime rib sandwich on a plain roll with spicy mayo, we split it as it is so big. they have turkey wraps and all types of sandwiches. the owner, Monica is so friendly and accommodating. She also makes pies, i have not tried the pies yet but they look delicious. just a wonderful local charming place with fresh tasty food. great addition to our Marshfield community. i always try to support the local business.

Everything is homemade right on the premises. I'm a regular customer so I've tried nearly everything on the menu. Fresh, tasty, extremely generous portions, fast, friendly service. Favorites are the chicken cranberry salad wrap, chicken cutlets with chipotle mayo, turkey avocado and turkey w/stuffing. Try it you won't be disappointed!

We stopped in to grab sandwiches on the way to the beach and were super surprised and pleased to find the roast beef sandwich was made with homemade roast beef and not deli-style cold cuts. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and homemade pickles and horseradish mayo ... all around delicious sandwich. However, it was a bad choice for the beach, as as it was about 6 inches high and a mess to eat. Otherwise, definitely a great find.
