Forget about getting keys copied at the big box stores. Half the times those keys don't work - if you can find someone at those places who knows how to cut a key.
Every key that I have copied a A Locksmith works - even tricky master keys. If they don't have the right blank they order it.
I don't waste time or money getting rekeying or keys copied anywhere else. Nice people too!

Excellent service! They probably have at least 20 times the number & types of keys you would find at a typical hardware store such as Home Depot. If you need a key made, this is by far the best place to go in the Lakeway / Bee Cave area.

Came out same day I called. Took care of a jammed key in the lock courtesy of my 8 yr old son. Fixed the problem, got me a couple replacement keys in less than 30 minutes. Will definitely use if any future problems come up!

Very happy with their service! Quick response when searching, Arrived on time, re-keyed the front door lock and dead bolt and also our back door to match. Bought someone's home, new to us, and wanted the locks changed for safety purposes.

Just bought a house in Bee Cave and needed a couple things done: re-key 9 locks and repair the front entry door lever (which had come apart and pieces were on the ground). Got a quick reasonable estimate over the phone (while other locksmith I had called insisted for the technician to come onsite to estimate). Scheduled the visit within 48hr. Kevin arrived on time, was very professional and helpful. Most impressive was his knowledge and dexterity: while we were talking about what happened to the front door (and misc other topics), Kevin had the entry latch totally disassembled, put back together and re-installed ... in minutes. I was so impressed that I asked Kevin about how to install a wifi "August" smart lock on the deadbolt (I was planning to install it afterwards) and whether that'd be difficult. Kevin was direct and explained briefly what I'd need to do to install the smart lock. I just figured it was easier to just have him to do it ... which Kevin graciously took care of as well. The whole work took about an hour (9 locks, repairing front door entry latch and handle, installing a smart lock on deadbolt).
Finally the price was awesome. I didn't need to buy replacement parts for the entry as Kevin managed to repair... and did I say ... awesome on all fronts?

Lost the extra key to my neighborhood mailbox. Was told the post office couldn't do it. Another local locksmith told me it would have to be rekeyed for just under $100 but these lovely folks made me three keys for under $5 in under 5 min and they worked!

I needed a key for an ebike that I purchased used but they didn't have the key. I called for a quote in advance and was told by the nice lady that it would probably be $15 to $30 if I brought it in.

Their location is a shop but with a home in the back looks like they've been there for a lot of years-no fly by night place. It is well stocked with keys and the works. It is about 100 yards from Whitakers auto body that I have used numerous times.

He had to do a lot of work to get it to work on all 4 locks (storage and ignition) and then he was only going to charge $20 after he made two replacement keys. I thought it was too little and paid him $25.

I highly recommend him. Efficient, very affordable, honest and quick (as can be). Down Home locksmith you can trust to help you out. Not a chain or franchise with high overhead. Not a scammer with bait and switch. Not a novice. Just what you want.

I would highly recommend this locksmith! Fast, friendly, reliable service, and they service the Spicewood/ Briarcliff area. I used them for rekeying our newly purchased home. They arrived at the time specified and we were very pleased.

Pam and Kevin are awesome. We moved and the first thing we did was take off the dead bolt and took it to Pam and she re-keyed it. She also made two extra keys and 3 mailbox keys and all of them worked fantastically! It saved us a lot of money and time.
Then one day our door lever jammed and we couldn't get into the house, Kevin came out and fixed that also.
