We had a gift card so we decided to go on a Saturday night past 9. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and a dessert. We were a little ways through the dessert and discovered a hair. They took it off the bill but we will not be back due to this incident and the fact that the service was unbelievable slow. Eatin' gross and slow in the neighborhood.

Late night happy hour begins at 10p each day. The service is actually always great when I need a quick bite. I most recently visited on a Wednesday and Karaoke also began at 10p. Currently, Applebee's is popular for being a non-negotiable first date spot. I can't say I disagree at my age and stage in life, but hey.. they have a few solid entree's.

We get there and had a rare day out with my Dad, going to yard sales. He has been wanting to go to Applebee's forever and a day. I have had no good service from the Plant City one so we came here. So this was his first visit to any Applebee's anywhere or any time. We started out with salads. They were big and refreshing. I had a Caesar salad and they had a couple of house salads. They had that two for 24 they got two steaks garlic potatoes coleslaw green beans and it was really good it was really delicious the steak was really tender. I ordered the four cheese macaroni and cheese with the chicken tenders and it was okay, it's really not my type of food it was only $9.99. I wasn't expecting the chicken tenders to be so sweet but it was good other than that. It was really a good time here it was nice and laid back it was quiet not rowdy or nothing like that it was a very pleasant experience. My dad really enjoyed himself there and he was glad he went and I was happy because it was like his first visit and he's been wanting to go so much so we finally took him to this one cuz it's the only one that we hadn't been to and we was hoping that the food was good and the service was good it turned out even better cuz the food was awesome and the service was even better we had a server named Dawn, and she did really good job she kept the drinks full, and she kept on checking on us to see if we was okay, she did an awesome job thank you Dawn. I have been quite a few Applebee's and this is the very best one I've been to yet. Like I said the one in plant city was not a very, good experience, on three different occasions, and the one in Lakeland was okay but this, is absolutely, the very best service I've had at Applebee's! Thank you all for doing such a good thing for my dad, and not even knowing you did.

The absolutely WORST Father's Day celebration EVER.

Where to begin... We were seated quickly , so that was good, and that's unfortunately the ONLY thing that went right.

A party of 4, and 2 of our orders that were on the menu couldn't be completed due to lack of ingredients, so we had to choose other meals.

We waited an HOUR and HALF in a half empty restaurant with one excuse after another as to why our food couldn't make it to the table. Eventually 2 members of our party were fed. 15 minutes later, a third burger appeared that was supposed to medium, arrived cooked to the texture of a hockey puck, super well done. Gross. My wife suffered through it, as we were starving. Me? I didn't get anything. After the other 3 finished eating, we stood up to leave, and lo and behold, our server showed up with the burger that I had been ordered an hour and forty five minutes ago.

No longer interested in sitting and eating by myself with my family looking on, I asked for the check, and also what they planned on doing about this disaster of a meal service. IMO, they should have comped the whole thing, but chose to comp our iced tea.

Also, they had street walking prostitutes and their pimps working the restaurant and bar area. I'd expect this over near Nebraska Ave, but here in Applebees in Brandon at a Sunday lunch? Just.....gross. Management failed to address it at all. Were they in on it? Who knows. It was repulsive, and my wife and I along with my parents had no desire to be exposed to that.

Other folks were also just walking out after hour plus waits for pasta or a burger, and it was half empty. It wasn't just us. Now you know why it's that way....you may never get served at all, unless you're jonesing for an STD and a drink. What a joke and waste of $$.

I ended up getting something from WaWa on the way home from this trainwreck. At least it was warm, and exactly what I ordered.

Avoid this embarrasment of a restaurant/street solicitor collection point at all costs. You've been warned. I'll be reaching out to corporate with this review.

I was so disturbed by the service I received from Miles the manager and Leah the bartender at Applebees on causeway and providence in Brandon Florida 33511. I watched Leah tell the waitress that we was cut off from the 1/2 happy hour at 12:40pm because she doesn't like the person I was with. I don't know what prior issues my friend and Leah had but her service was terrible towards me. I watched her say out her mouth she don't like my friend and I watched her make my drink with all sour mix. I explained this to the manager miles and instead of apologizing for the terrible service he made excuses for her. I purposely didn't say anything and let my friend explain the service and as I'm listening to him undermine what she is saying I just had to say something to him. I called him out on him making excuses for her instead of actually listening to what my friend was telling him. She is purposely giving us nothing but sour mix instead of alcohol we are sitting here watching her and we also explained to him we watched her say she doesn't like my friend to our waitress and she was cutting us off from getting the 1/2 happy hour drinks. I will not come back to this location as much as I love Applebees the accountability is lacking very much at the Brandon location. The manager was no help. Who is a customer supposed to come to then if the manager is right with the shenanigans. Applebees you all have to do better with hiring people because no one wants to deal with the attitude of someone that's "just from NY and that's how they is" in Leah voice! Now how would I know that if she wasn't talking noise. Smh

Have come here quite often in the last 2 years or so. I'm not a big fan of the place, but it's in a good location to meet up with friends.
On the last 3 visits, the service has been horrible. From the 10+ minutes wait at the bar on trying to get assistance when the place is nearly empty, to the additional time to get the order placed, delivered, drink refills, and ticket. Is all but a joke. I'm not sure what happened with the chain, but even the most basic standards have degraded to the point that I won't go back or recommend the place to anyone.
The health department should keep an eye on this one.

We order to go from here and the food is really good. At least the last two times we have ordered from them. We gave them a shot after not going there for a few years. We were surprised that they upped their quality. Everything packaged well and no waiting once we arrived.

I don't know why I bother to keep coming here this time if my last time poor service and food is not worth it
