Emma West - State Farm Insurance Agent

I am a licensed insurance agent in California. We decided to try State Farm for our small business insurance. From the onset it was a joke. The work vehicles on the auto policy were written different and completely backwards. That was easily cancelled but our worker compensation insurance was a different story. They estimated the policy based upon last years annual wages which I think is probably customary. We told them that we had less than Hal of the employees. Regardless we could not get any answers or literally any correspondence at all. Full on avoidance. I finally cancelled the policy of which I was paying double.......no big deal, I will get a refund. We literally send 10-15 emails and called countless times - when we did talk to someone they told us it is with accounting haha. It's pretty black and white. After 6 months the lady that picked up the phone said a refund of $200ish dollars has been sent out. They owed us thousands. They made up something different every time we called. Finally I reported them and my policy to the Insurance Board of California and wouldn't you know it?!! I got a check for my refund in the mail after 7 months.

We are a small Business and cash flow is always important. They kept $3000 of our Money for over half a year and the only way we got it back was reporting them to the authorities.

I've nothing but good things to say about my experiences with Emma and her team. Super helpful in explaining and maintaining my universal life insurance policy and getting me set up with boring old auto insurance.
