Starbucks

Forgot my plain bagel, and my everything bagel was barely toasted and sad. Mint mocha was okay. Definitely not worth the time or money. Not sure what exactly they pay these kids to do. Because it certainly isn't to make a correct order.

Usually starbucks is pretty good, but this one...

So disappointing. I came here ON my birthday to order a well known free-drink-on-your-birthday that everyone was talking about. I was told I needed to claim it on their app 24 hours prior to my birthday in order to claim a free birthday drink and I cannot get the free drink before or after my birthday. Lmao Why bother promoting free birthday drinks, Starbucks!?

There is a young lady that works there named Zeniya who makes me the best darn hot vanilla blonde latte I ever get when I go to Starbucks. I like the employees they are friendly and courteous. But that vanilla latte is off the chain its so good!

Brand-new Starbucks in Bridgeport opened Monday December 28. I stopped by to check it out. Balloons inside for the grand opening.

This is better than the previous empty lot here, but locals shouldn't forget about Jackalope Coffee or Bridgeport Coffee--two great locally owned shops just 2 blocks away.

Inside is open for carry-out only. New indoor tables look muted but nice when indoor dining reopens post Covid.

Some outdoor seating is on the patio. Having the seats right by noisy Halsted Ave is a miss when they had enough land to place them on the other side of the building.

Drive-thru is open and was already getting a lot of traffic.

This location doesn't appear on the Starbucks app yet (for preordering). They say it may take a couple weeks.

My tall blonde roast was served below temperature... more lukewarm than hot. I assume this is growing pains since Starbucks is usually fairly consistent.

Very glad a Starbucks opened up in Bridgeport. It's in a busy corner already though. I avoid it during the morning and any other busy times.

They are sometimes sold out because of COVID but also it's so busy. I can depend on them having matcha though.

They work fast and are nice but usually super busy.

I'm still glad that one has opened though!

Updating my review and removing stars unfortunately. My drinks are never right, and it's frustrating at this point. I understand they were busy and all of the workers appeared stressed but this is unacceptable. Our our had 3 drinks. One drink was completely forgotten and the barista made two of one of the drinks. Then she removed the sticker to the manor my drink and it wasn't right at all! It was a hot Carmel macchiato upside down, extra vanilla, ex Carmel drizzle. My drink was not sweet at all! Then I would feel like the jerk asking her to make it over agin as she hurried off.

The coffee is fine. The staff are fine. The design of the store location/parking lot is ridiculous. The space isn't sufficient to have both a parking lot and a drive through. If you can even get in there and fight into a spot, its very hard to get out. The drive through line is usually interminable. I've waited 15, 20 minutes, even more, for 3-4 cars ahead of me to finish.
What they should do is rip down the entire ATT store they stuffed into the corner spot, which we do not need, and make that PARKING for the Starbucks. Then make the current parking/drive through into two drive through lines. I'm not an architect but I think that'd work a lot better.

Good drinks , awful service. Waited for 15 minutes in the drive thru for one drink with a single car in front of me. Don't even ask me for a tip...This is my nice review because it's Sunday.

It's a nice location and seemed so fully staffed. But the line was so long I couldn't exit out of the parking lot entrance. The drive thru line blocks off the 31st street exit. It's a horrible parking lot. It was the middle of a weekday and it was crazy busy but fully staffed. I don't drink coffee so the only thing I every get are the refreshers. I've hand the pink drink maybe 50 times at this point. Sweet, sometimes tart, sometimes perfect. But the one I got from here was completely tasteless. It was the most disappointing one I've had. You would expect more from a corporate location too. It was strange and a waste. I should have drove over to McDonald's and got a happy meal for the same price. Would have been happier and a toy richer.

The coffee is awesome but the stereo speakers actually hurt my ears.I been here a few times and the speakers just ruin the experience.
